  1. While what you've joked about and what I suggested are miles apart the fact is if an employee is eligible for leave and has formally booked said leave there should be room in a work environment for a respectful conversation. If, as the OP suggests, her DH would be fired that would constitute wrongful dismissal in most jurisdictions. Regardless, nobody wants a confrontational relationship with his or her place of employment, thus my suggestion of a respectful conversation. I have had a similar situation several times in the past and I all cases was able to make mutually acceptable arrangements with my employer, lololololol away if it makes you feel better.

  2. No, these are 2017 sailings.

Fair enough, that changes things. There's been a lot of handwringing on here lately about cruises that are 9-12+ months away and just assumed this was the same. Thanks for clarification

  3. That is actually a legitimate question. Some ships have you board on deck 4 or 5 and some on deck 6 or 7. It is not always the same boarding deck on all ships.

[emoji23] - Sure, sometimes you board on different decks, but who cares what deck you get on?

  4. See, I'm loving that it's a little smaller since that gives you a little more room in the cabin.

Unless it's half the size (they only want to have one mattress size?) I don't see a real downside. I'm guessing it is just renderings as introducing another bed size for a small group of cabins will be problematic.

  5. There are windows they do not allow you to make reservations for MDR's so it's not that it seems like they are doing that, they are. It's not to push you to the shows, but rather to allow people to elect to eat early/late and leave peak times more open IMO.

  6. Get hold of her passport and fill in an application for the renewal; give it to her, with a cheque for the cost, to sign.

An application for a Spanish Visa.

Just so there's no confusion...probably not many countries from which Spain requires a special visa.

  7. I always thought the ropes courses gave quite a big bang for the buck. They offer continuous loading, occupy a large group of participants, and provide a decent level of excitement. There's also the "magic" of pausing in place and appreciating your spot high above the sea. Because of this, they always felt like an extension to a cruise experience, not a sideshow land-based activity. Hopefully the new features on the Bliss will be implemented in a similiar fashion. Hopefully.

Well said...I completely agree. Seems silly like that goofy capsule on Royal that extends over the ship. Goofy.

  8. I'm so glad I saw this thread!! I really want to do a Snorkel Excursion with the Fury Charter that docks in Yacht Haven Grande and I read somewhere that the Escape docks in Crown Bay. Docking at 8am with an 8:30am snorkel tour at the other dock would have been almost impossible. I'm so excited to hear that we can just walk to this tour now! Turtles, here I come!!

We went with them last year, it was great.
