  1. We spent 4 nts, 3 days, using it to visit other areas, using train to get to Salisbury to take hop on bus to Stonehenge,; train to Portsmouth and saw the Mary Rose exhibit. Ferry to Isle of Wight (sp?). These are just suggestions. Lots to do.
  2. No, standard with 1st US port. Still shouldn't have taken this long. Passengers weren't given enough info and then there were the passengers who chose to ignore the instructions to get off. Also the set up for immigration review. We did immigration onboard in Boston but only half the passengers.
  3. Actually you don't need to complete the check in. You just need to start it and pick your boarding time. You can finish, including adding passport, at a more civilized hour.
  4. On 11/30, just after midnight ship's boarding port time. So if you're boarding in Miami, checkin begins just after midnight 11/30 Est. If it doesn't work on the app try using the website. All you need to do is start the checkin and pick your boarding time for your group. The rest can be done later.
  5. Not in the summer. No breeze, too hot to enjoy the balcony.
  6. You never know. And we've all met the partying older crowd also! If you want that cabin just know that those in the cabin above are watching!
  7. Agree. On the April TA they let us extend the D lounge into Viking crown lounge.
  8. Agree but you can't drag them out in their undies! Can you imagine that photo! Understand i think the behavior of these people are unforgivable. The solution is not as simple we would all like.
  9. My guess is that they probably needed permission to break in especially if locked from inside.
  10. They didn’t start looking for them until they got a list. Also if they knocked and got no answer would not immediately try to unlock the door.
  11. What! Why? What did they expect people to do? Forget about needing singles to tip bar waiters, at the end of a cruise we need 10s and 20s for extra staff tips. Makes no sense.
  12. Yes. Just staggered. Report as soon as you board. They check you in, show you the life jackets and your done. Some people can't seen to do that before they start to party.
  13. I think they did before covid changed things. Even now the captain has to call out names of people who haven't reported to their muster station. Considering how simple it is now not sure why people still try to avoid it. Since Black Falcon pier has very little room in the terminal we cleared immigration onboard. This was the Anthem TA. We did have fewer passengers and majority non US citizens so they clearly knew they would have to clear immigration and were prepared.
  14. Yes. Time varies but usually from 5-8 pm. Someone who was there please confirm.
  15. They're like the passengers who during the old muster would hide in their showed when crew would check their cabin! I had someone proudly tell me they did that. Not sure what to do with people who think they are above the rules.
  16. I don't think I had any problems making the switch on the Anthem TA.
  17. Was on Jewel in April/May. No one but suite guests in what was concierge lounge. We're D+ and had to use D lounge. Pinnacles could use D lounge, not suite lounge, but also in the evening had another place, where the LA sat during the day.
  18. Luggage tag is on last page of your edocs. I download the edocs and print out as many of the last page I need.
  19. Just the information from your passport. I gave up uploading my photo as they didn't like the size. They take my picture at the pier.
  20. We always use guest services. We do start with some small bills.
  21. If you don't sign out when you sign onto the 2nd device it will ask if you want to switch devices. No problem.
  22. You received it for hitting 350. Every 70 starting at 140. Congrats.
  23. Dh rolls his. I fold. Always pack too much.
