I do not mind change.... but when you look at a user activity you use to see what they had "liked" now not shown........ I also noticed the post number. missing.... otherwise it is all ok

Not sure about the round avatars

One thought that would be nice... it all uses have their country listed under avatar....

    Cheers Don

We do bring location info below a member's post count. Location is a voluntary field - that way a member can control if their location is shown 🙂 Gives privacy to those who wish

If the admins are taking requests, I'd love the ability to change the theming to a dark theme? I know other forums I visit have this ability, so I would assume the software running CC has it, but just needs to be enabled. Usually this is a per user setting.

That wasn't released with this update but I can make sure this idea gets to the developers suggestion box

  3. Clicking the star or blue dot next to a thread should take you to where you left off.

However there is a new feature located in your settings: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/settings/links/

You can choose what behavior happens each time when you click on a thread between these choices

The individual forum pages are OK, but I do not like the style [ipsList_inline] applied to lists on the main page.

    The column arrangement for the
/
tags was easier to find or look for things on repeated visits. Squishing the list into a paragraph of comma delimited things does not provide that consistency - and makes no better use of the vertical space on the page.

    This has been restored 🙂

Thank you for that info, I sometimes get caught out when I re-read what I’ve posted and it’s too late to change mistakes.

Once you start to edit a post how long do we have?

If you click the edit and your edit window is open - there is not a timer you have to race against 🙂 No worries. The only timer is that once you post, the edit button is only available for about 15 mins after

Having recently completed my blog on my Majestic Princess Cruise to Fiji, and started a new one to Hawaii, I would just like to thank Cruise Critic for making the whole process so easy.

I have to admit that previously I didn’t feel capable of uploading photos etc, so shied away from doing a review. but now the system is SO easy that even I can do it.

I particularly like the way you can quote small portions of a post so that you don’t have to end up quoting a huge amount of photos etc.

It might be an idea to highlight this great feature as it might help those who quote huge amounts and then just write one sentence in response. I have to admit that I didn’t realise this was an option until I started the Majestic Princess Virtual Cruise thread.

So thank you for all the technological advances you are making, and for continually improving the site, and making it even more ‘user friendly.’

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are actually still walking our way through some newly upgraded features as of this morning as well. We appreciate your feedback
