I can't remember for the life of me how much are the prepaid gratuities again?  I believe they may have went up a little since I last cruised.

I'm looking at this one, but I'm not sure if it will fit the dryer in the cabin.  I sort of remember the nozzles being on the larger side. Do you think this would fit? Thank you!

I would suggest that you scroll down & read the reviews to that particular diffuser within the Amazon link that you posted.

Someone please show this to Cookie & Matt. I want them to know how VAUABLE they are.

Its a 99% chance Cookie & or Matt will most likely not see your 1st Cruise Critic post here. Look in your email, you'll find a (Post Cruise Survey) there. Fill it out & share your thoughts with Carnival via the post cruise survey.

Additionally, you can let Carnival know how you feel located @:

Is that a recent change?  When we were on Horizon earlier this year, the price you paid depended on what you ordered. I don’t recall exactly what we paid, but I know for us it was more expensive than the steakhouse.

I realize the OP wanted info from somewhere other than Carnival. However, this was just updated on 09/20/2019

Sorry if this has been asked already.  I always tip in addition to the automatic gratuities.  We are going with friends who have not been on a cruise before and they asked if they could take the standard gratuity off at the end of the cruise and tip on their own the last day and night.  I thought that you used to be able to go to guest services and ask them to take them off if you wanted but not sure if that has changed.

6201. There was one deck of cabins above us, below the Bridge, but now that I look at it there was a "blank" space below us. I'm not sure what that would have been. 😮

Hmm...maybe it was a storage area for sets for the theater and they were moving those around.

    Cabin 6201, Bingo!!

No reason to over analyze, it was the (backstage area) of the theater (below you).

A lot of movement, rehearsels & noise from that area.

No, but there are times when big new boats are in port and I usually say to myself " I am glad we not on that boat" just because we do not like the "new, bigger" boats! Now I do feel pride when I go to the MDR in my jeans!!!! LOL

Is there a Mongolian Wok at lunch on the Vista?  Where is it?

As the others stated, there is no Mongolian Wok on Vista.

However on (Deck 11 aft, not in the buffet) there is Ji Ji's Asian Kitchen.

Hours are 12:00pm-2:30pm for complimentary lunch.

There is a fee for dinner, the hours are 5:00pm-9:30pm.

I did a search and have not found an answer yet. I was told that Carnival is now charging for delivery of room service.  Any truth to this?

    Thanks

Seems to me we have been tipping $2.00 per bag for like 30 years.  Were we over tipping years ago or am I way behind the average?

Most often we cruise with 3 large suitcases & 1 large garment bag.

At embarkation when we drop off luggage I usually tip $10.

However, when we disembark a ship I tip $20. We always use porter service with luggage carts; the porter also uses the dedicated porter line at customs, bypassing the extremely long lines, then the porter takes our luggage outside the terminal to wherever we need to be.

    Hi JMarlowe & Serene56 ☺️

I noticed the Pixel package has an online purchase restriction.

You cannot change the quantity. It will revert back to one. Also you cannot add a photo package to the cart, then continue shopping, & then add another. It will remain as 1 photo package in the cart.

However, I'm sure once onboard if a passenger wants to pay the (onboard price) for an additional Pixel package (37% more onboard, approximately $140) they could.

    🌴

I can't change the online purchase quantity as well.
