  1. Thanks Kathy. It gives us an idea of what to expect in a few weeks, if disembaking goes the same way. A side note to your "Irish" CC name, our son plays novice hockey for our local team the "Lucan Irish".

Keeping it "green". I am half Irish and claim 100%. Funny story, we were planning a cruise way back when and we were at an Irish Pub in Atlanta and I wanted to ask a question, but could not until I created a logon. I said what should my logon be and my friend said close your eyes and open them and it will be the first thing you see. Well it was Irish on the Killians Irish red bottle. The 432 was supposed to stand to be 143 to symbolize the words I love you, but since we had partook in many of those Irish drinks, the numbers got all mixed up.

  2. I have to agree with you on this. We sail next week on Allure so hopefully disembarking will be expedited when we leave 2 weeks later. If not, we do have Global Entery and will be using luggage valet, so it will be somewhat faster than a regular departure.

Can you please come back and report your experience. We are sailing may and may need to adjust our flight times.

  3. Just back from cruising on Independence and Allure two very different experiences when disembarking the ship.

On Independence Raj asked us what time we wanted to leave the ship we met him in the Concierge Lounge and he escorted us off the ship and all the way to customs.

Disembarking Allure was a very different experience you could have a light breakfast in Coastal Kitchen and then leave the ship when you wanted to but everyone had to make their own way off the ship.

The Concierges Dexter and Ana said they were no longer allowed to escort suite guests of the ship something to do with a problem at customs on a previous cruise.

This is so disappointing. We were on oasis in September and were escorted off without a problem. It was a nice perk.i would definitely mention it on your survey

  4. Call me crazy, but last night I was looking at the RC homepage and there was a additional ad where the "every sailing every person 30% off" ad is located stating that 3/4 passenger prices were starting at 99.00. I clicked on the link and it brought up 3-5 day sailings for most ships and the 3/4 passenger rate was very reasonable 129.00 and 149.00 for the sailings that I looked at although I didn't see any at 99.00.

It wouldn't let me see the terms and conditions of the sale, it only pulled up the search of cruises when I clicked the link.

I went to look today and do not see the ad. It got me thinking that maybe they are starting the summer promotions soon which could lead to the KSF promotion!

  5. The master door to the 1700's is key access by your sea pass card.

Sometimes it is locked and sometimes the door is wide open.

All of our 3 cruises on either the Allure or Oasis that we were booked in CL we walked on board with the suite boarding, once went to customer service, and once ate first (in our suite by noon) and the last time took the elevator to the 17th. deck, key accessed in the area at 11;25ish, met our cabin attendant, dropped off our stuff and went to lunch in WJ.

The cabins seemed to be getting done as you disembark because two years ago when we left the CL at 8am. Our attendant walked in with a helper and cleaned it that early.

    Enjoy.

    We love them.

    Safe travels.

Thanks, I didn't realize that. It will come in handy to drop off our wine and carryon.

  6. We are a family of three that have sailed in both GS and CL 1 and 2 on both Allure and Oasis.

    For us any CL.

    Love the space.

    Love the location

    love the balcony

Love the privacy of the cabin

the extra complete bathroom is great

    the extra attention is awesome

love getting into the CL suite when you board and not having to wait till 1pm.

Now the closeness to suite lounge.

    Close to pool and WJ

GS are nice for us we had 14730

    Kinda in no mans land.

    weird bathroom

    two small balconies

Go for the CL we are again this summer.

    Sea Ya

I didn't realize you could get into your room before 1. What time did you go to your room. We are heading in May and it would be nuce to drop off our carryons

  7. I have sailed in both and would recommend the CL as long as it is an L1 for that price especially since they added the suite lounge up there.

It is so convenient for breakfast, coffee and lunch.

Another plus is it is one floor away from the pool deck and windjammer and no waiting on elevators.

This may have changed, but when we were on the concierge walked you off from the suite lounge so no waiting for elevators to leave.

    It is very quiet.

The best stewards I have had.

  8. My son and his friend who turned 18 right before the cruise were in the casino playing some slots. A casino person came over and accosted them saying they shouldn't be there. I was nearby and told them they were 18 and their ids were checked when they got the spin to win token. He promptly took them over to the cage and looked at their sea pass cards into the computer.

I would go over to the cage to have their seapass verified by the supervisor before playing anything.

  9. Did you book it??

Sadly no. I really tired to make it work, but airfare was 615.00 to San Juan and we have a lot of trips coming up. My husband is out of vacation time:eek:. Skiing this week in Colorado for the kids winter break, Mexico for me for my daughter's spring break, my husband is taking my son on Majesty for his spring break, Grandparent visits in Michigan, girls trip on Oasis in May, and the Empress at the end of May.
