Morning 8.c here and just had a heavy rain shower.Who'd have thought it rain showers in April. One things for sure the chippy's will be putting up the price of a bag of chips soon ,due to being too wet or dry . Looks to be brightening up ,hope you all have a good day Take care 🙂

I must point out guys that I used to go to bed at 10 pm and not 10am , I like my kip but not 18hrs worth , they didn't work me that hard honest 😅 Todays been a lovely day ,we managed a countryside stroll ,followed by a slow roast beef Sunday dinner . The carrots are used as a trivet for the beef which makes them extra tasty . Looks to be a pleasant evening 13.c and I hope your all having a good day too .🙂

I had the same problem when I used to work,being in bed for 10am and up at 4am ready to start my day became the norm for me . To this day I still feel tired around 10 but make myself stay awake until at least 11pm. I now wake up around 6.30 ish naturally but a few morning will still wake up at 4 am for no reason . Not an easy cycle to break .

Good morning 13.c ,looks to be a makings of a nice day . Love or hate it, todays the Grand National and folk keep asking me "Are you having a go ? " .. The answer is no ,but I did have go on the one on Blackpool's sea front once .🙃 I was told a woman has won the grand national... Unbelievable. !!! I cannot imagine Mrs K jumping over all those fences. Got our annual travel renewal insurance quote this morning and was fearing the worst due to the claim we made for Mrs K on the Azura last year and increases due to inflation etc. Was very surprised when the price came in almost £5 less than last years price. Going on how we were treated when we needed to use them , think we will stay put 🙂

"Cruise Date " seems a funny name to give yer cat , (Only joking ) Talking of dates away ,we are the same as you and say nowt. I realise some folk would like us to say they are away but that defeats the object . We have a neighbour who are always banging bumping making a noise apart from when in "holiday stealth mode " they are off and away. The only thing that gives it away ,is the arrival at the airport where they then post photos with beer in hand and statements such as .." Not long now, soon be on plane to Ibiza for two weeks "😅

Exactly ,nor have I been charged twice. Our daily spend is lower than yours and on one of our last cruises we had just over £700 OBC and on the last night onboard having a meal ,we actually spent £3 .?? of our own money .At no time did P&O take 1K to cover that cost .The card balance was £3.?? added .

Same here Josy and we even have a Fair FX card that we use for when we are off the ship or on other holidays abroad .

Morning ,we have a nice sunny morning but only 4.c at the moment . As Mega advises ,we all need to check our travel insurance and buy what covers our needs . I've just checked my travel insurance policy and apparently if my bed blankets are stolen in the middle of the night, l'm not covered.🙃 Looking at the prices for luggage add ons ,I've come to the conclusion ,it would work out cheaper to be robbed 😉 Hope everyone has a good day -Take Care 🙂

They are a lovely bunch and are very supportive and offer an almost 24 hour service . Handy recipes ,hints and tips like "Never look at the sun directly" you need good sunglasses . Don't do like I did and use a colander, I did but it strained my eyes 🙃 Welcome Julie ,look forward to your posts 😀

Fair point but as a guide ,they did not want to cover my HF and I would be happy for them to have a change of heart (excuse the pun ). I was giving Avril a heads up on my condition . Thinking outside the box in Franks case ,does Avril want breakdown cover ? Phone cover ? At a guess No, she wants travel insurance but probably not opening a flex account that costs £15 pm plus other costs , if and that's the "if " they decide not to cover ? All that to be possibly turned away at renewal by Aviva . Me personally will wait until Aviva take over ,that will take the guess work out for me personally .

One less thing to worry about mate , onwards and upwards 😀
