Glad all is well to know and mum and baby are doing fine .😀 We stayed at the Holiday Inn last cruise and had no problems apart from they were having the lifts refurbed so one was out of service of the two . That was late October so should be sorted by now . When staying here before check in we refueled the car and had a great chippy meal at Mikes fish @chips just top side of the garage . Should you want to do either here's directions ... Garage

Same here, last cruise we had the option of a saver fare or for £180 each we could chose our cabin and they would give us £550 OBC. So they pay us £190 to choose our cabin . No gripes from me 🙂

Most folk on here will tell you ..Research your cabin with care and then tick Do Not Upgrade !! That way you know what you are getting . Great to hear you and Frank are doing ok Avril. I'm doing fine and so is Mrs K who is also at ease with the salt and sugar reduced diet that we now follow. As for the drinks Mrs k make me a mug of tea but only gives me 2/3 full ,that way keeps my daily fluid intake down even if I have 8 or so a day . The cardio guy said "if I go over a bit,it's not the end of the world" As for food I do like a chippie meal now and again ,so yesterday we had a kiddie meal but only had 2/3 of the chips and Mrs K did the mushy peas Asda own brand as they are low in salt but the trick is all in moderation. I'm sure with you as his supervisor Avril , Frank will do just fine . You two take care 😃 PS We have got the pink text highlighter and not the blue one now 🤔

The way of the world now, everywhere you turn it's do want to "give us more money ?" That's what they really want 🤔 Our holidays out in Madeira, our two cruises with P&O were all met with ,fine now you have decided what you want ,do you want to upgrade ? Even the hotels we stayed at and even the carvery's were at it .. would you like pigs blankets with that for just a couple of quid more ?? Erm no thanks ,if I did then I would have booked in the first place ! God loves a tryer though and they are trying to make more money 🙂

Leap year days ,who would have them ? Folk who are on fixed salaries can work for nowt today . Somewhere there's possibly a 6 year old mum stood in an off licence trying to buy a bottle of vodka for her birthday today ,whilst her 6 year old daughter who'sbirthday is not today complains bitterly to the shop keeper .. We tend to use the sat nav on long runs even to places we know as it shows a more accurate speed you are traveling at . Most of the time such as going to Southampton ,if we are on a 70mph road we tend to do 65-68 and like to find a clear stretch in the inside lane and enjoy the journey . The sat nav has lane change warning and car in front anti collision warning but I turned these off as I know when I want to change lanes etc the only "bing-bong" sound I get now is passing speed camera's . Just coming up 50 years clean license 🙂

Morning everyone it's a cool 3.c and feels like 1.c and overcast . I agree with S H we should have good brakes ...🙃 And as for electric cars ,lots of things are been converted to electric ,even our local farmer is converting his sheep to electric . He now has one of the last sheep that is still coal powered ...😮 Have a good day everyone 😃

It was great fun watching them when the poles came off the wires and the conductress would leap outside grabbing a big pole to reconnect to the power lines so we could be on our merry way again . One of ours ended up in a museum the other side of Doncaster .
