We ask for a table for two, with chairs with arms . (their description not ours ) When handing us over to the waiter who's a distance away they signal by tapping their arm.

And it gets worse for people who buy the low sugar/ salts products. Heinz Tomato Ketchup reduced version will cost £4 or more a bottle . My Mrs recently bought a packet of sage & onion stuffing (low salt ) When she told me the price I nearly choked on it . Anyone checked out the price of those Benecol drinks and spreads lately ? 😲 Thankfully there are a few alternatives out there but for some people with intolerances, such as milk it can come at a cost when buying oat, soya and nut versions .

My thoughts as well but why the fixation on P&O cruises ? They are not alone . Last night we watched a YouTube film on RC ships and in the film they went to a paid eatery. One gets his Breakfast in about 10 minutes while the other sits another 25 minutes before his breakfast turned up . They had staff shortages . A couple who filmed Cunard were not happy either. You only have to read the "Cut backs on P&O " thread and folks were wanting to get off a Princess cruise due to shortages .. A fair number of cruise lines as well as P&O . You forgot the photographers ..Say .cheese ???? Oh you did .😉

The ultimate in "cheeky" is when they revamp the packaging with words like "NEW " and tell you they contain less calories .

Growing up as a kid we had Alsatian's and a Labrador. When it came to meal times they had a tin of Chappie each with a good handful of Winalot biscuits ,with a Vetzyme tablet thrown in . Dogs loved it but I hated the smell of that tinned meat 🙂

Same around here ,you could die of old age waiting for them and when you are lucky to get one they go all over the place through various villages via hospital etc , can take 30-45 minutes to get to town .It used to be a direct 15 minute run .

If I go to a tiny village pub or a big town centre venue then the latter is most likely to have some sort of policing /security nearby . Of course the tiny pub could have trouble. Thankfully it's not an everyday problem on P&O as some testify they have never seen any trouble but when it does arise lets hope for appropriate action . You make a good point with the so called parenting and child control of some ,which again could lead to friction . This again could happen anywhere not just on a ship ,so what's the answer to it ?
