Could be what they call white coat syndrome ? Some people get higher readings when they go to the doc's . I've just done mine 118/77 -58HB but some days I can be all over the place, that's what HF does to you. You take care.

That got us both laughing 🤣 Us posh ? We haven't even got a gravy boat 🙂 The clue was in "own" and not home made. We ate at the fish restaurant, same as other night. They make their own pies.😊

Tonight's meal does contain gravy on chips but on a nice own made proper steak pie🥰 I must point out I scoffed the lot and it was proper thick gravy,non of that dish water stuff 😋 AS T-REX said "Get It On"👍💕💕💕

At the coast and its 12.c sunny,cloudy and very breezy. Thought we would try a stroll and get some fresh air and we got that alright 😏 Now sat with a nice mug of tea watching the ships waiting for high tide.

Good advice . Last year almost to the day my Mrs had just had a major operation and on release from hospital she had to have 10 0r 15 anti blood clotting injections (1 per day ). A nurse was sent upon to the ward and showed the Mrs how to administer the jab, nurse saw her do one and said "your good to go". If I was Trings hubby ,I would be upfront about the injection and see if they are happy him or Tring doing the injections whilst away . I guess it's going to be a hell of a lot less hassle and cheaper than involving the ships medical staff .

Morning ,hope everyone's good😊 I see the knights are drawing in now and we can now look forward to that time of year where we can lie back and relax ,next to a nice warm fire (if you can afford to run it ). Whilst listening to the whoosh and bangs of sky rockets and air bombs what seems like every two minuets . I have decided to join a carpenters evening class but I haven't made anything yet 🎶We've only just begun 🎶😉 I'm sat chilling out reading the news papers .A protester was taken into police custody earlier at London's O2 ahead of Roger Federer's farewell tennis match. Royal mail are a joke and dread using them . A parcel I had recently was sent by "Tracked" so I could keep tabs on it ,right ! Went something like this "we have your parcel", a day later "at our sorting DC" then at another DC ,then we could deliver today and the day after just turned up with our normal postie ,that's tracking for you .😒 The other day our post came and we had loads of junk mail with it , the mail office told me my "no junk mail" had possibly run out .Fair enough ,can I renew it whilst on the phone ? " No and you cannot do it online either " So much for modern technology eh ? What they can do is send you a form out along with other bits of paper explaining what they told me over the phone and I had read online but I can then hunt out an envelope and post it back to them . The other bits of paper and old envelope I can put in the recycling bin . This method has proved that popular ,I can repeat every two years or they proceed to put said junk mail back through my door .. What a plan ! 😕

Whilst seeking to save on electric I came across a solar table lamp that can also be charged by a usb lead that's supplied with it . The plan was to light up the bathroom when getting up in the middle of the night for the loo, as our bathroom has a heat lamp which uses a fair bit of electric . The lamp has three soft light settings and on it's side a circle touch illuminated switch, that is red when charging ,green when full and a blue light if you leave the light in standby . In standby it shuts down until dusk and then gives off a blue light without switching the lamp on and we have discovered that this is enough light to guide us half asleep to the loo ,without the need for any household lights . Nice for those warm summer nights sat having a drink in the garden . Should we ever get power cuts we are sorted ,win, win all round . Anyone fancy one they are called .. Lancaster solar lamp ,we love it 😍

Last night as we went to bed we both commented to each other that we both had the slow march music they played going up the Long Walk at Windsor ,stuck in our heads I noted some of the horses were getting stressed and kicking off at doing such a slow march. Some good horsemanship was displayed keeping it together .

Sorry my mistake , it was leaving Scotland and the St Pauls that the flowers lament was played. The final lament was indeed Sleep, dearie, sleep.

The lone piper tends to play Flowers of the forest and is used at funerals . My Granddad had it played at his as did my Dad at his as well. A very haunting lament that takes me back to those two funerals .

Decided to go out for Sunday lunch yesterday and decided on a night out ,so opted for the Hilton ,pretty new hotel (2018). The view this morning was pretty stunning as well .

I have had the same phone plan with o2 since around 1987 on the old Text and web plan . There is no time set for top ups , just use the phone once a year ,which could be a text to myself . It comes at a hefty rate, phone calls .55p per minute and texts .30p per message, so I can get away with .30P per year . Most stuff I do is via my ISP provider which has no charge to my phone. Going back to someone who was unemployed my phone plan would not be much use to a job hunter making phone calls at .55p per minute .
