Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily Fleet report. I’ll pass on today’s meal suggestion. I’ve been trying to use up leftovers from the freezer before we leave for vacation. I want some room for our shopping at Shady Maple when we visit family over Thanksgiving. @richwmn when traveling the Finger Lakes area for work I picked up some wines and found them to be too sweet for our tastes. I’m glad that CC is working this morning. I’m watching a cruise on the Zaandam for next September that starts in Montreal and ends in Boston. It visits several ports that we haven’t seen. All suites are sold. I’m thinking of booking it while on the NA next week. I hope everyone has a good day today.

CC took an update today. I can't log in on my iPad but can on my phone. They have a message posted that something went wrong. Ignore the account locks and don't change your password. It will not work.

Today started as a rainy day and has stopped, at least for now. Today, in between meetings, I need to put together a work list for my coverage while I’m on vacation. @kazu I do hope you recover quickly and get to enjoy your cruise. Wishing everyone a nice day.

It wouldn’t surprise me that they encourage us to fill out Verifly but then not use it when we board. If that is the case it will go in my post cruise survey!

Interestingly I just received an email from HAL reminding me to download Verifly for a quicker embarkation. We set sail on Sunday on the NA.

I agree. This summer on the Zaandam I thought the lido lacked the usual variety of choices. Thank goodness for the Distant Lands section!

I’ve been held up in line to leave the ship because the parents left the ship before their children were checked out. Everyone had to wait for them to return so that the children could leave with the parents. The parents were annoyed with crew for holding them up.

I’ve witnessed an adult push all the buttons on the elevator. We were trying to catch an excursion. Wasn’t happy with her.

I always watch our on board statement. We were on Eurodam in March and Zaandam over the summer and had no issues getting our free dinners. Let’s see how the NA is next week.

Good Morning Everyone, thanks for the daily fleet report. Today’s meal suggestion sounds good. It promises to be a nice day today. I may walk to the corner store at lunch to grab a ticket. The jackpot would pay for a lot of cruises! Happy Halloween!

We use TMobile and do the same. There is no data charges. There would be a charge if we actually called someone.

Rotterdam sailed out of Port Everglades yesterday.

While I don’t require internet access while cruising it does make life easier. I get updates from our pet sitter. One winter the batteries died in the furnace thermostat, we forgot to change them, thanks to Wi-Fi we could tell her where the new batteries are located. On another cruise my mother fell and was hospitalized, again thanks to internet access we could keep updated. Life happens.

The current port schedule has Rotterdam confirmed for 4. NA is scheduled for 5 but not confirmed.

True, that’s why I bring hard copies.

When we dine out we always tip on any pre discount rate. So this seems fine with me. I should note that when we use our free 5* dinners no tip is added to the meal by HAL. It wouldn’t surprise me if that changes in the future.

I print out the preliminary boarding pass as a backup. The Navigator app will have the barcode needed to board the ship.

Yes, HAL adds gratuity up front. The discount applies to the base price of the dinner.

I have a mental check list of things that need to be done today. DH is a flight risk if I shared the whole list with him at once. He is good at disappearing when the vacuum comes out, let alone a mop.😂. I hope everyone has a good day and hopefully “see” you at sail away.
