  1. Saw some nice Filigree style necklaces on Etsy, so you might check those out! Extra Long Filigree necklace with puffed silver ball pendant 36” with Ornate Chain Plus Size necklace (2.5k) $36.00 FREE shipping
  2. Anybody know if Adventure's decorations are up? We cruise on Adventure on December 8th. Thanks!
  3. OK, the adult only area may be a great choice on CocoCay, especially if there is more than one big ship at CocoCay with the potential of lots of kids. Since Celebrity ships are also now allowed at CocoCay, that may make for larger crowds, which could make it harder to find a peaceful spot! Enjoy your adult time on the beach!
  4. I also enjoy the Refreshment package which includes all drinks, even JR milk shakes, excluding the alcohol. Be sure to get the fresh squeezed OJ which is much better than the watered down OJ; however, JR has really good OJ! BTW, JR's on all Oasis class ships provides breakfast included in your cruise fare; some people don't know that! Also, remember to collect a few bottled waters or juices from time to time to keep in your cabin cooler. It sounds like your DH would not benefit much from the RP, so you may want to refund that. He should be fine with the included options, unless he doesn't want the hassle. RCCL no longer provides a wine/beer package, and beer is not covered in the RP, so he would need to buy beer ala carte. Sadly, there is no Playmakers on Allure (yet). As the poster mentioned above, lots of free beach options on CocoCay, unless you want a designated cabana, beach bed, or reserved chairs. Any drink packages are also honored on CocoCay. Hope this helps! Happy cruising! Cheers! P.S. We love the Allure!
  5. According to this, D gets $10 off of the Wash/Fold laundry; D+ and above free. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/dam/royal/resources/pdf/crown-and-anchor-society-benefit-grid.pdf
  6. I agree that Royal's wording can sometimes be difficult to interpret; however, if you look at the amenities chart at the top for some of the amenities, it reads 7+ nights. The D+ free laundry has always been accepted on a 7-night cruise, not just 7+ nights, so, in my opinion, when they say 5+ nights, I would take that to mean 5 nights or more. https://www.cruiseswithfriends.com/Downloads/CAS_MemberBonus_Amenity_List.pdf Good luck and have a great B2B! We love doing B2B's! Cheers!
  7. Me neither! I rate that right along with sky diving and bungie jumping; I won't do those either but Tom would do all of them! However, I did parasail once, many years ago, and loved it but not sure I would do that again today either. If we were on Icon at the same time, we could just sit and watch those silly boys, while we chat and enjoy a nice cocktail! Cheers!
  8. OK, first off, I didn't respond to you but to someone else. Secondly, if you re-read my post, you will see that I attempted to apologize for any misconceptions. So, again, I am sorry. Hope that's good enough, or maybe you want more.
  9. Not sure what you meant by saying that. We are always friendly and talk to most of the staff, with and without tipping, including Guest Services, floor/bathroom cleaners, painters, various room stewards, etc., and they always return our smiles and conversation without receiving any $$ compensation, so I apologize if my post was taken the wrong way. I don't tip for special treatment, so please don't imply that I do.
  10. We always prepay gratuities and were not surprised about the increases. We will continue to tip in cash for those who provide us with excellent service. We usually tip in cash to those bringing our drinks and I like to tip the baristas who make my caramel macchiatos each morning. Sadly, I almost never see anyone tip them; they are usually very busy at the cafe and try to make everyone's favorite coffee quickly. Not bragging; I enjoy tipping them talking to them, and seeing them smile and wave when they see me! The special coffee warms my tummy but their smiles warm my heart! Long story short, everyone is free to tip or not to tip! Cheers!
  11. Since we drive to all of the Florida ports, the closest/easiest for us is PC, then Tampa, FLL and, lastly, Miami. Our friends, who fly, prefer FLL over the others.
  12. Yep, it's been quick for us too. They're giving money back to us quicker, so we can buy more stuff for the cruise! LOL!
  13. We booked the 40% off lunches at Chops on boarding day for a few of our upcoming cruises; only $15pp! It's so nice to have a nice quiet lunch on boarding day vs dealing with the stampede at the WJ buffet! Cheers!
  14. Can't help you with the lunch question but our group of 12 had dinner at Hooked on the Wonder and it was fantastic!😜
  15. Go ahead and purchase what you want now on sale. If price goes down, you can always cancel and rebook it!
  16. If I were invited to cruise in the Royal suite, I would gladly sleep on the couch or a cot!!!!! Just sayin'.😉 Hope you and your besties have a splendid cruise!! Cheers!!🥂
  17. I have no experience regarding your question. However, I have read that the "holiday" specials are usually excluded from any sale or promo, so I would bet that the BOGO for D+ and above would not be honored at all that week. Just my personal opinion. Maybe someone else has experience for this.
  18. We'll be watching NFL at Playmakers on the Mariner for the next 2 weeks. Great service, staff and food! What really irks the waiters is when people go over to Sorrentos and get their free pizza and drinks, then bring them over to Playmakers to eat, drink and watch the games, and never order anything from Playmakers - very, very rude! We'll have the Dx drink package and make good use of it in there, as well as order their tasty wings, onion rings tower, and maybe a delicious dessert! The prices in there are not bad at all in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing our favorite waiter, Ryan, in there tomorrow!! Cheers!
  19. We're not seeing that as an option for our upcoming cruises on Mariner or Adventure, so maybe that's only an option for Oasis class ships. Our only gift option for water is for 6 bottles in a cooler bag. Sorry I couldn't help.
  20. I didn't think I would ever want to go on ICON either but, after I've been following its build and the projected areas on board, I became intrigued! So, I caved and also booked us an accessible interior for November 15-22, 2025 for $3,875.28, which we didn't think was all that bad. Wished we would have done it sooner, like you did, though! We booked a 3 and a 4 night on Utopia for my birthday in February, 2025; looking forward to seeing that ship as well! I'm on borrowed time too! Of course, when you think about it, I guess we're all on borrowed time, so cruise and/or enjoy life as much as you can!! Cheers friends!!
  21. A friend of ours is currently on the Mariner too. She is D and received the letter in her stateroom upon boarding.
  22. If you return to Playmakers, please tell Ryan (waiter) that Tom & Sal will see him next week and staying through Halloween!! Ryan was our favorite waiter on Mariner. We also liked the Playmakers manager, Robert, but not sure if he'll still be there. A friend told us last week that Ryan was still there though. Happy anniversary and enjoy Bermuda!
  23. Wow! My favorite part was looking at the pictured projection for the 2025 Star of the Seas all lit up with LED lights!! It's around 7:30 minutes into the first posted video and 5:00 minutes into the U-tube video for a sneak peek!! Awesome!!
  24. Your drink vouchers can be used anywhere and at anytime within the 24 hour time frame; they do not carry over to the next day. Cheers!
