It took us awhile and the help of a friend to do it. There is a little screen for use of a better word on the slots where you create an account with password from your card. From that the credit showed up from our room key and you push a button to transfer to the slot machine.
I'm not a gambler and would have never figured it out by myself.
haha did that accidentally and found I had a $2.00 credit from Transfer. Have no idea where it came from.

I'd say the best way to make a loophole disappear is to tell everyone about it.
Edge has notice on top of the cashier cage telling you exactly how to do it. You can even get a small card to keep with the information. Don't think its a secret.

Ive been in a suite the last 4 bookings. I walk in (at least 30 min early) go thru paperwork , and zip right up to the ship. Drop my carry on, and go eat lunch at Luminae. Not in the lounge long enough to get any food there.

Before finalizing, your booking should show you exactly what your getting for your $$. I always look for the AL (Always included) with wifi, tips, and drinks (classic) before finalizing.

Can be done on the Edge. They even give instructions on how to get money from your room charge to the slot machines.. Done it on several cruises. Have a ton of OBC on Equinox coming up. Will see if I can get it out.

I was just doing that today for a cruise I just booked. I have an annual medical policy and needed to cover my cancellation should I fall ill. before sailing. Looked all over and finally went online to Aardy and called them. They found one thru AIG that even though had a small medical , it did cover my cruise costs. As I am a senior, , prices are not cheap,. but my 9 day cruise fare costs were much more..

If you book online, you'll see what's shown in Post 111, which IMO is pretty clear. If you use a TA, then you may not even see all the codes. My TA's statement has the perks listed, no codes. While reading this post, I checked my TA invoice which just showed CREDITS, I called and had her resend a complete invoice, showing all the perks individually. Did not include any codes. as they are exclusive codes for Celebrity .

I have been worried about this myself. The Always Included is included in my invoice but it is not showing up anywhere online or in the app. I discovered this a couple days ago when I decided to upgrade my drinks package to the Premium, however was only given the option of Classic ($59) or Premium ($69) as if I did not already have the AI. Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, how did you handle the upgrade in advance without paying the full amount?
I will for sure be bringing a paper copy of my invoice with me when I board just to be on the safe side, but I would rather make sure it is all resolved prior to boarding.
The best and easiest way to upgrade from Classic to Premium is onboard.Go to any bar, and bartenders will be very happy to upgrade you. I believe its around 35 dollars a day to upgrade. , not exactly sure of price( I don't drink so don't pay big attention to the package) but a big difference from posted pricing.

This was direct from Celebrity - I am hoping Retreat means all in!
I would give Celebrity a call and have them spell it out for you. Good Luck. "Retreat"
could mean, access to Luminae and Resort areas.

My agent had it applied at time of booking. I would definitely ask about the Military Discount as it often triggers a repricing. With Celebrity you never can tell until you have your agent or celebrity check.
Same thing when you check off Residency Status. I don't touch that anymore.

Just got off The Edge and saw this topic. Had booked a cruise onboard and transferred immediately to my TA. My copy from TA did not show Always Included. Just called back and got a completed invoice showing exactly what Im getting.

wow. good for you. Port of Miami to Port Everglades is 27.7 miles. So walking out of the question . 4 ways to travel: 1) train and bus,( takes about 2 hours ,2) bus only, (cheapest) takes about 4 hours)3) Taxi or uber (about $75.00 takes around 30 min, or 4) drive. Your best bet and safest is Taxi or Uber .

Yes, you can even give the card to someone to buy with.
I have 3 coffee cards that are years old, since I haven't been on Royal for almost 5 years. Planning on two cruises this year and will bring my coffee cards with me. since they never expire.

We routinely sail Aqua on Celebrity ships and are currently in a Millenium Aqua room for a sailing later this month. I am considering an upgrade bid on a Sky suite and would like opinions on this.
I know the change includes Blu to Luminae. We have been to Luminae once and tend to view the two restaurants as near equal.
I see the room size only goes up about 60 sq ft.
I know that the Retreat is added.
Will an upgrade win entitle me to the streaming Wifi? The upgrade page states "All other suite class services and amenities"
Oh, another question. Is it likely that my TA can make the upgrade bid for me? I am trying to find a way that leftover cruise credits can be used.
So, please help me justify an added expense to move from an excellent Aqua experience to Sky Suite.
Many thanks, Bill
Can only tell you the sky suite was wonderful. However, if you do a move up, you lose the perks with the suite, except for Luminae and the Retreat. So the other benefits (premium liquor, streaming wi fi, $600 OBC ) are not included. You do get to keep all the perks you got with the Aqua cabin.

I travel solo, and that is my nightmare. I do carry annual medical emergency insurance , which is on an app in my phone. and a card in case the phone is locked . It gives me comfort in case its needed.

Thank you for posting this list on non-alcoholic drinks or mocktails! Anyway I tried to look up where the term "virgin" cocktail came from. It is an interesting search if you care to find more info.
A little tongue in cheek :During Prohibition, people could no longer go out and order a Bloody Mary to drink. Instead, they would ask for a Virgin Mary, which was just plain old tomato juice. Referring to the drink as a Virgin Mary was a tongue-in-cheek way of clarifying that the customer wasn't ordering alcohol.

@Missymo Thanks for starting the thread. There are a lot of people who don't drink or are looking for good choices other than alcohol.
While not officially a drink, I love the Affagato at al Bacio. A scoop of Gelato with chocolate syrup and a shot of espresso poured over the top.
I liked that until you mentioned expresso. Oops, can't have the caffeine .But love the rest of it.

I have been asked to start a thread, drinking while cruising. Since I cannot drink (medical) I thought we could start mentioning what people drink (non alcoholic) while cruising, or just.partying. I was reduced to drinking water whenever I traveled, til a friend suggested to have a "virgin" drink. I will start with a few I have learned over the last few years. I have added ingredients for anyone with allergies Please add to the list, so we can party with the rest of them.
Raspberry, lemon drop Martini. Fresh (or defrosted frozen) Raspberry's, Lemon, lemon lime soda , sugar
Virgin Sunset (trying this one in two weeks) Equal parts OJ, pinapple juice, cranberry juice over ice Stir with genadine syrup, cherry on top
Miami Vice (my fav) pineapple juice, coconut cream, half and half, ice, strawberry puree
Strawberry margarita Ice, water strawberry, lime juice and agave nectar
Mud slide, vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, hazelnut syrup heavy cream, (cold coffee) optional )I personally cannot have caffeine so wanted put as optional
Pina Colada. ice diced pineapple, pineapple juice, Coco Lopez coconut cream, Pinapple slices .
Another one my Granddaughter added for me. Apple cider ( optional a 1/2 shot (or less) of vodka. I brought my own Imported Apple cider onboard gives me a sense of contentment for a drink. Fortunately the tiny amount of vodka I added did not affect me.

@Missymo Please start that thread. Would love to read about recommendations.
I started it yesterday, under Celebrity ""Drinking (Virgin) on cruises. " There are quite a few good ones. Always looking for more.

I am so excited with your review and pics. I will be onboard 2/13/22 in a Sky Suite. This is my 2nd of 3 times on Edge. Last cruise (Oct) was first time solo, due to loss of DH and first since pandemic. . I loved it so much, make quit a few friends, and booked 2 more on Edge, (plus 2 on RCCL) for 2022. I don't drink (unfortunately ) but have found some lovely virgin drinks to partake while cruising. Any one have a special non alcohol drink to recommend? I am also a senior, so my pace will probably not be as active as yours seem to be. I do plan , to eat in some of the speciality restaurants as they sound yummy. I missed out on that last time and ate my meals in Luminae and Blu. All and all, should be a wonderful time.. Again enjoying reading your comments everyday.

I once found a ring tucked in a dark corner of our safe. We did not see it when we loaded the safe at check in, but some time during the cruise, I happened to feel it in the corner. I’m no jewelry expert so I’m not sure if it had much monetary value. Since it was not to my taste, I turned it in at guest services (kidding…I’d have turned it in even if it had been to my taste). As somebody cared enough to place it in the safe, I hope they got it back.
The lesson…use a flashlight/flashlight app to check the safe before departing.
Great Idea. I carry a very mini flashlite I keep attached to my around the waist wallet. Its tiny and I wear when onboard ships. I keep it in case any lights go out and I need to see where Im headed. Now I'll check the safe with it before debarking.

Ive been on Edge twice so far (More down the road). (I had been pre warned on this site that Suites were on left. Dropoff first time, I was fortunate that a bunch of us arrived at the same time, and one of the hosts spoke out and asked if anyone in a suite. As I was (apparently the only one in that group) I walked towards the left side, and she said "this is for suites only " and I said, "I know" . We then proceeded to a quick check in and onboard. Didn't matter what time I had scheduled (I was early) Proceeded immediately.
