  1. I have found that the loyalty ambassador and DL concierge are useless. It seems that everytime I ask for a simple request they can't deliver.
  2. Be very careful answering the questions. I hit the button for the pregnancy question as I was pregnant after 23 weeks and it said that I was denied boarding. I called RC and explained that I was a Male and it was a mistake. She told me that she couldn't change it and address it at the pier. So, be careful and dont rush hitting the buttons.
  3. When are the ships decorated for Christmas? Starting to approximate stopping date.
  4. So what is the current wait time to get a passport back?
  5. Have been on many cruises, most on RC and Celebrity. Haven't been Carnival for about 10 years. I noticed a transatlantic cruise on Freedom in the fall going east and thought that was better than flying to Europe to take a HAL Rotterdam TA back. I am looking for advice from people who are knowledgeable about Freedom. I saw some reviews that it has gone downhill, smelled of sewage, food was bad, etc. Any advice? Thank you
  6. My friends are on an Anthem cruise the week before we go on ours. I was thinking if i bring their car to them at 8am is there a place that we can wait at the terminal until our 10am checkin time?
  7. How long do they usually give you to complete the second flight?
  8. You are wrong. How do you propose doing your homework when it is a fluid situation. Over the past three months the policies and procedures changed incrementally. In my own case I did my homework, repeatedly, and I received conflicting information numerous times.
  9. Last month we had a similar issue with RC and their inept response(s). Due to covid we had three cruises that had to be used by the end of 2022. We took Odyssey from Rome, Brilliance from Ravenna and Anthem from Southampton. We had to test through emed between the Odyssey and Brilliance cruises. Our TA arranged a test on Brilliance before disembarkation. A few days prior to the end of the Brilliance cruise we went to guest services to ask about the procedures for the test. The officer on duty told us that the testing requirements were ended and it wasn't necessary for the test. We politely pushed back and said that being that Anthem was a Transatlantic there were different rules. That officer went and spoke with another person and they both came back and reissured us that tests were no longer required. We walked away and we just didn't feel comfortable with that answer. I went on the RC app and looked at the requirements for us to board the Anthem cruise. It said that testing was in fact necessary to board. That evening we went back and asked to speak to someone in charge of guest services. A very nice woman came to us who was the front desk manager. We showed her the app statement and she told us that she would look into it. The next day we went down and again she said we didnt need the test. We requested something in writing to confirm this policy. We told her that we didn't want to get to the Southampton pier and be denied boarding. She then said she would contact the ship directly. We came back later that day and she apologized profusely, stating that she didn't realize that it was a transatlantic. And, we did in fact need the test. Had we not been persistent we would have had a problem. Royal has a HORRIBLE way of educating employees and having consistent policy information. The woman who started this thread should have noticed that the six year old needed the vaccine but Royal needs to have a little compassion and attempt to resolve difficult issues in a better way.
  10. In most cases, if you watch the person slicing the meat they dont know how to cut it. They are not trained properly. They cut it in all directions which is a large problem. Not only is it produce an inedible sandwich it is a big waste of money for Royal.
  11. I would be curious if we will ever know what happened to the four passengers. So what were the final refunds that RC gave the passengers?
  12. We are D+ and are entitled to free. But I've got to say the last few times that they did the laundry they ruined a few of our things each time. We had nice tshirts that would come back with some type of stains or they are super faded like they had been laundered 50 times.
  13. When these things happen you ask yourself, is this the first time that they did this?
  14. I have been curious about what percentage of adults on the ship purchase an alcohol beverage plan.
