Seabourn are well aware of the problems that the Quest has been having and they have sent key personnel to put things right. The other ships in the fleet have had no such problems. The hospitality industry is lacking in workers at present and most establishments on land or at sea are having some adjustment to their working life. I suppose that we all must be patient while everything gets up to speed.

To us here in the UK it speaks volumes as the Palace do not issue statements like this lightly. The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke of Cambridge are on route to Balmoral to be at the Queens side and that for me tells us everything.

Thanks Heidi, Gratuities on Seabourn are always included but a lot of regular cruisers know about the crew welfare fund that goes to fund parties and electrical goods like TV's and other personal items. We find it is the perfect way to show our appreciation to all crew above and below decks. We just go to guest services and ask them to donate a certain amount. Much more discreet than waiving a few notes about to make yourself feel good.😁

What a shambles. Cruise companies have to cover themselves and norovirus is one of the worst things that spreads like wild fire on a ship. With all of your issues on board I am still amazed that you haven't been to see the Hotel Director.

Tipping should be a private matter and not talked about. Do Viking have a crew welfare fund that you can contribute to like we do at Seabourn so that all crew can benefit from the gratuity.

Sailed on Seabourn Encore in August and we had many different entertainers and a dance troop brought on for an afternoon show poolside in Turkey. We also has Sarah Brightman give a very special concert one evening and an evening concert by Jonathan Antoine at Ephesus. Plus the Seabourn singers and a dance due from Ukraine. Nothing to complain about.
