  1. Well done Commodoredave Nice to see that you matched the tie with the jacket 😀
  2. I have always chosen wines from the list and very rarely drunk from the included pour. Try to be upsold sometime, you will be drinking far better wine.
  3. I have known John Barron for many years. He is a very professional CD, a good singer, and a nice guy. I look forward to sailing with him again.
  4. Let's hope that you are both negative Julie Fingers 🤞
  5. Not to forget Ayres Rock in that back and beyond third World country 😁
  6. Hi Julie, Lovely photos of the food and land from your cell. You both look great with Covid and much better than last time I saw you.😀 Stayed at Claridges last week and remember when you came to London and we had that wonderful dinner at Le Gavroche. I have had a word with the judge and hopefully you'll get out soon with good behaviour.
  7. I think have the best of both worlds. That's why I sail Seabourn and Silversea. I don't compare as I have a great time on both lines.
  8. One day you'll be fine Julie until then just pick up the phone and get people to run around after you peeling grapes and pooring endless glasses of Champagne. Have you untied Keith yet from the bands.😁
  9. I have had that one so often but also 640 I like port side for many trips. I now generally have a Penthouse because we like the space and sometimes entertain in the suite. Keep 642 tidy and clean as you never know who will be in there next.
  10. There is talk that Silversea might add some more suites to the Endeavour
  11. I would avoid the suites that are underneath the pool deck. I have stayed in this location once. You hear noise from cleaning in the morning and from people walking on deck late at night. Deck six is your best bet 642 is my favourite
  12. That's a comfortable number if you're a guest but not so comfortable if you own the ship.
  13. Where do you think all of the service staff have gone after covid. They were there before covid
  14. It fine for us. We board Encore soon and have a Penthouse.
  15. Terry, Not just airlines and Heathrow having issues. Yesterday I went to my local Starbucks only to find that all of the seating area had been closed. I asked the server what was wrong and why I couldn't sit down. He said they only had two staff on for the whole day and that meant they could not clear and clean tables. Nobody can get staff in the hospitality industry here at present.
  16. I told you that on June 14th 😁
  17. The sofa is fine. I have laid on many 😁 No ship will please everyone. You'll have a great time.
  18. Have you recruited a kind soul to get supplies ashore for you.
  19. I had thought about using tape around the mouth area of my neighbours on a cruise many years ago.
  20. Good to hear Julie. Are you using the balcony or have they locked you in 😁
  21. I never book a connecting room on any ship.
  22. Daveywavey70 Eze is a lovely medieval town and the jewel is the Chevre d'or. There is a terrace for drinks that overlooks the sea and Cap ferrat. The rooms are all different and I always get one with a small balcony so that I can have breakfast there. It is a must. Food is superb and the very best wine cellar that you could ever wish for.
  23. One of my favourite places Chateau la chevre d'or Two fantastic sommeliers a wonderful restaurant and a wine cellar to envy
