  1. Spotlight Bar is the newest one out. The other ones Rock Opera and 5 Skies have both been out for a while .If you cruise even just twice a year they get old real fast. How many times can you see the same show? I know 5 Skies has been out over 4 years because we saw it originally on the Sky for Christmas in 2019.
  2. We just got off the Enchanted 1/7/24 and after 25 cruises with Princess we've decided to take a break from them. The whole cruise was a big let down. The shows are the same old shows. They did have 3 different comedians and a magician those were all fine. The buffet was fine on day 1 but after 10 days of the exact same stuff it gets to be disgusting. We couldn't believe how bad it was. We always rave about how great everything is on the buffet and all the selections. Ocean now is more like Ocean whenever or never. We'd order stuff it would show up sometimes in 20-30 minutes. Or it would say it's on it's way then just cancel. Or it would say it's been delivered but never show up. Room service takes an hour every single time. Dining room minimum 2 hours for dinner. You'd sit 20-30 minutes with a dirty dish in front of you waiting for your next dish. To try and speed it up we made sure we only order 1 starter, entree and dessert usually that would keep us right at the 2 hour mark. If we saw 2 starters we liked we would skip the dessert and just get gelato later. There was multiple other misses and screwups and halfway through the trip I told my husband I'm just done with them. I've canceled our Canada/New England in September with them. I just booked next New Years on MSC in the Yacht Club and they also status matched with Princess.
  3. It's usually a fairly quick process. Just don't try to do it first thing or wait until the last night. I usually go to passenger services first thing in the morning the day after sailing and it's usually no wait.
  4. On the Enchanted and also on the Sky we were told you only got access if you purchased the pass. Just booking a massage or something else would not get you access to the Enclave. It is considered totally separate, that's why there is a special key card to get in. We always book 2 or 3 massages each and also buy the pass.
  5. I just wish it was one of the newer ships. I've been on the CB four times. The first two were great. Unfortunately now she is really showing her age. Last cruise Dec 22 Panama Canal was absolutely horrible. So much so that they ended refunding half of our cruise fare, 2 of the excursions I booked through them and also comped us dinner in Crown Grill. They need to just sell it off or retire it.
  6. I usually start with adding 2 $500 AARP gift cards. I've gone daily to passenger services and just added another 1 or 2 $500 AARP gift cards to my account as needed. If I need cash I just pull it off at the casino cashier. Nobody has ever said anything.
  7. Oh no! That's not good! We'll be on the Enchanted and we always book the Enclave. It's one of our must haves.
  8. Anyone happen to what the current pricing is for the Enclave on a 10 day cruise? I purchased a couples pass last cruise for $299. Now it looks like it is $196 per person in advance. Is the pricing any better on board? Thanks!
  9. I've tried to email them also and never got a response. I was assuming just catch a taxi to Sapphire Beach and walk to the marina I figured it had to be fairly close to each other. I was hoping to do a different time also. I guess we'll be stuck with the 11:30 one and figure it from that point on. Hope you have a great trip!
  10. At 13 they may charge full price. I think children pricing is for 12 and under.
  11. This is exactly what we are looking at doing on our cruise 12/28/23. Just trying to figure out the logistics for the transportation from Havensight. Yes it looks just like the same as Cozumel except a longer ride.
  12. I called my TA had them add on the package to my booking through Princess. Then 5 minutes later she made payment with my gift cards.
  13. Thanks! I always book direct because for some reason she can't never find the same price I can find. I can always get a lower with price with my casino discounts etc. Then I transfer to her for a nice cash off discount. Then I don't bother her again except to make payment. I'm very low maintenance.
  14. I've always booked direct then send a form to revenue support to transfer to my agent and it's done in a day or two. This time I did it on Sunday the 5th and got a email back saying I had to send it to adminsupport@princesscruises.com. I have now sent it 3 times this week to admin support and it still hasn't been transferred. Is this the new norm? Is there a number I could call to get them to move a little faster? My TA leaves next week for her own personal vacation and I'd like this resolved before she leaves. Thanks! Also anybody have the updated form? Mine still says to send it to revenue support.
  15. To anyone that has stayed in this suite do you remember if the sofa or the bed was closest to the balcony? I can't find any pics of this room and I have time to change it if necessary. It's just that we prefer the sofa to be closest to the balcony. Thanks for any info!
  16. Ok thanks. I could really care a less about the contents. I like having access to the fridge for my own use. On other lines I get free minibar so never thought about it. I guess the steward can just remove the contents so I'm not charged.
  17. First time MSC. In all the videos I've seen it looks like the fridges are always locked. We are booked in a aurea grand suite with a beverage package. Does anyone know if our fridge will be unlocked? I know if I book yacht club it's unlocked. Thanks!
  18. We already received a notice that we won't be returning to terminal 2 on the 7th of Jan. What we are planning to do on the day of departure Dec 28th is drop our luggage at the terminal. Then go park at the Palm parking garage and get a Uber back. That way when we return our car is right there waiting for us. Less headache since we return on a Saturday also.
  19. Yes because last cruise they even tried to charge me full price even though I had prepaid everything except for the gratuity that gets added at the time of service. I had to show them all my services I had booked and paid ahead of time. I'm just glad I printed all of it off. When I asked about the 10% discount they said the services are already discounted because I prebooked and wouldn't give the 10% discount. Now I'm getting an email for my upcoming cruise in a couple of weeks reminding me to book spa services early at reduced rates plus I'll get the additional 10% discount. I guess I'll just book and save the email and argue with them about the 10% onboard.
  20. I noticed on the list of "new" benefits it says platinum and above get a 10% discount on spa services. I know on my last cruise I had prebooked and paid for a few services for myself and DH. They didn't credit our shipboard account with any discount of 10% so I assume it's not automatic like the excursions discount. Has anyone used this new discount and if so how'd you get it? Did you just go to the front desk and get the discount applied? The spa people are clueless. Thanks!
  21. I've never been on the internet that long so I can't really answer that question. It doesn't seem to be very fast in my opinion though. Princess has never taken my passport on any of our cruises with them. I've never had to hand over our cartons of cigarettes either. We've never had a problem buying a carton or two and just carrying them on at any port.
