  1. It was on the regular menu 2 months ago on the Ruby
  2. When I call my CVP and they are out their phone message gives me an option to get to their back office CVP folks. I wouldn’t go through anyone else
  3. That was not a CVP but the ONE marketers. I only go through my personal CVP and stay away from these jokers who also run the future cruise department on board ships
  4. I guess you can have your own definition of anything but any google search will tell you that there are 2 hemispheres east and Westley based on the prime meridian
  5. And all of Central and South America are part of the Western Hemisphere So by your definition a RT FLL that visits Columbus is a closed loop cruise requiring a passport. Please check the definition of Western Hemisphere
  6. I would do both We still carry sanitizer with us
  7. Better than nothing when there is not a sink available.
  8. They are referring to the plus package which includes WiFi and CA as well as unlimited non alcoholic drinks. Not the stand alone soft drink package
  9. What you are describing is Traditional dining like the old days where a dining room has 2 dining times with large tables of mixed passengers. That is not an option right now but per Princess press releases will be available later this year
  10. Sometimes I think people make assumptions based on what some has posted or said. Not all closed loop cruises can be done with a birth certificate. For example partial Panama cruise RT Fort Lauderdale goes to Columbia. I know that you need a valid passport for that country
  11. There have always been hand sanitizers at the MDR and specialty restaurants which most people ignore and no one makes them use them
  12. What this means is that you did not read the press release which makes it clear that this is an on board experience manufactured for the passengers. There is actually no attempt to fabricate snything
  13. We always board early afternoon after a late breakfast or early lunch on shore. Don’t need to fight the crowds or stand in lines. Just walk in and get on board within a few minutes after 1:00 or so
  14. You can use cash in the slot machines but must cash out to your casino account with the medallion
  15. Just hope you don’t lose it our get mugged. Those documents are worth a lot on the open market. The cruise line will not advise you to take your passport ashore
  16. We did this a few years ago to see constellations and it was pretty 😎
  17. I believe they are referring to an experience th the theatre like a planetarium where project thins against ceiling and walls. There have done this before to show constellations
  18. Don’t ever let them mess with anything that involves casino rates. They have no idea what they are doing and will promise you rates and a day later say oops sorry
  19. Yes it is hard to compare $2.50 cans of coke to $12 cocktails. Apples and Oranges
  20. We have brought potato chips back to ships since bars don’t supply them anymore. Buy some Pringles that are sealed no problem bringing on ship
  21. What I was referring to was referring to it a specialty dining could lead people to think it is like Crown Grille at $39 per meal when it is $149 per meal
  22. If you only have a few sodas or coffees it would pretty hard to justify that is why most of us think of it in cocktail terms.
  23. I totally agree. I have friends who used to work in future cruise departments for Princess and they have all transitioned to either concierge jobs or as CVP’s
  24. I don’t think you can apply a premier package freebie to the 360. It should be shown as experiential dining as it cost much more than places like the Crown Grille
  25. We almost always book on board on the day we want. However we never eat dinner prior to 7:30. I always see packed venues at 5 and then empty restaurants at 8:00
