I have not seen a non smoking casino on any Princess ship. There are always some slots where smoking is allowed unless they are sailing in an area that does not allow it such as Australia
The MDR menus are in the app every morning. No problem ordering. Why would I order room service breakfast when I can go to a suite breakfast with incredible service. We also sail with the plus package which covers room service charge
I believe they are called ONE. They are those same people running the so called Princess Promotions “deals”. I won’t go near them with a 10 foot pole. I will stick with dealing with my CVP
Partial charters charge whatever they want for the cabins they book. It is generally higher than the cruise line price to pay for access to their events which other cruisers cannot attend
I will never again even talk to the so called future cruise department on board since it was moved to a 3rd party company. They have no idea what they are doing. The last time I used them they totally screws up a booking and I spent hours of my cruise getting things straightened out
Be advised that drinks in the casino are not going to be free unless you have something special on your deal. Easiest way to determine if you should take the plus package is how many drinks you think you have daily. 3 or more usually means the package will save you money. The plus plan also covers waters, soda and specialty coffees
The Plus package works for us. Most “normal” drinks will fit within the $15 limit. I drink Woodford Reserve bourbon and Captain Morgan rum. My wife drinks Grey Goose vodka. All those are covered by the package. If you are a wine drinker there are quite a few wines by the glass over the limit
So why are people screaming about cancelled cruise. I would expect this and never book a new ship that far out. If you book a brand new cruise ship you should expect issues
Building anything new has risks. Also you have union issues, supply issues etc . What if Princess waited to sell cabins until the ship was ready ? Then people would be screaming why can’t we book. You can’t have everything. So maybe don’t sell cabin until ship is delivered and have a huge price increase
We like the full suites for several reasons. Size of cabin and balcony, suite breakfast, free specialty dinner on embarkation, extra mini bar if you are elite and laundry service if you are not elite. Also the walk in shower is preferably to a tub when you have knee and hip issues. Also we prefer aft to midship locations
If I recall correctly there are two Teas issues. One is that while in Texas waters they can only sell liquor that was paid for and taxed in Texas. The other is that Texas law does not allow drink packages to be sold or used in that state
I believe you did jump the gun on the first night suite dinner. We have never had a problem booking those at the venue soon boarding or on the dine line. We really don’t know what type of food we will want until then. If I have had pasta the night before the odds are that I will choose Crown Grill and not Sabatini’s but I won’t know that until that day.
One device at a time. You can toggle between your 2 devices or you can upgrade to 4 devices without going to premier. The upgrade would be less than $20 per day per person. If you go to premier then first 2 in the cabin must have same package
