  1. We have done Alaska on Princess multiple times, many different ships, different embarkation ports over 30 years and have never been disappointed
  2. Even the old app showed like one cruise for a b2b on same ship
  3. For us it has tons of value and we always cruise with the plus package. When we want a drink on the balcony all the stuff is there. We use the package at bars and restaurants
  4. The aft penthouse balconies are huge and wraparound while the mid aft balconies are very narrow
  5. We only use the package at bars and restaurants. When we want something out on the balcony we grab from the mini bar. Definitely a benefit for us
  6. Packages have nothing to do ewith mini bar setups
  7. We used to get comments back in the 1990’s at trivia. “How can you know so much useless information when you are so young”. Also at most traveled luncheons
  8. Sounds like you are booked for a bus to an airport. I would get confirmation on this
  9. You will need to pick up medallions at the pier. Just bring your travel summary and passport
  10. It makes no difference how you booked it. Room service does not know how you you booked it. If it as available as 2 7 day cruises you will get another setup
  11. If it is the same data then why does the old app show me as elite and new app says new cruiser
  12. I have never needed a boarding pass as long as I have the medallion and passport
  13. There is usually many warnings in the casino about when to cash out. We a have booked a back to back in 2025 starting in Boston and will treat the St Lawrence and the 2 days in Quebec like we do on Hawaii cruises about 4 days break from gambling
  14. I am not sure about which demographic you are referring to. We are in our early 70’s but have been getting discounts and free cabins for years. We do not play big money in slots we play between $1.76 and $3.00 per spin depending on the game.
  15. If it does not touch the US them US laws would not apply. I have no idea if Australia or New Zealand have such laws. Before booking look to see if the cabin you want is available on both cruises before booking. I hate having to move in the middle of a cruise
  16. Part of it I believe is history. My wife and I used to get the same offers. I was out of commission due to Covid on a cruise a year ago and now her offers are better than mine.
  17. We usually have $8,000 - 10,000 points each on most cruises and we can get free balconies and between $400 and $600 in free play. I think $5,000 might get you a 30% discount but I doubt free cabins and free play
  18. CVP’s can handle all casino deals like the ones you get in the mail but cannot deal with bounce back offers you get on ship. On those best to go through casino offshore group and then get your CVP to clean up all the mistakes they make like adding on transfers you don’t want etc.
  19. My reference was like what was old is new again. Back to a separate jogging track like we used to have in the past
  20. I have seen people turned away on formal night for short shorts, some halter tops but for the most part dress decently and no problem
  21. If you want to reduce your gratuities then you cannot have a plus package and then would be paying for every alcoholic drink, every soft drink, every specialty coffee plus 18% on the drink amount. You will also have to pay for all casual meals you decide to have etc. Sure wouldn’t work for my lifestyle
  22. The OP mentioned that they were not going to get the plus package so in that case they could purchase a drink plan only for the minor
