  1. We use local hot sauces such as Aardvark and Newks. We can’t find them outside the PNW but don’t need them for most dishes so don’t feel a need to bring them.
  2. Once you are on medallion net you are locked into your current cruise. You can still go on to Princess.com and see your upcoming cruises and boot excursions etc
  3. I have always thought adult chocolate mile was whole milk and a shot of Baileys
  4. Bring it yourself. When ask for hot sauce I have always been given Tabasco
  5. There is a possibility when you get close to final payment date some cabins may be returned by TA’s. I would keep check but any cruise with a special event like an eclipse or special itinerary that you don’t see very oftener
  6. There are several different wine type dinners and chefs table. On the Enchanted and Discovery the is also the 360 experience dinner
  7. The issue in Vancouver we saw last year with Green lane 5 minute wait and blue line at least 30 minutes. This may have gotten better since they now can ship to Canadian addresses
  8. My question is why the gap between sailings. Are you on 2 different ships and what do you plan on doing in Anchorage for a week ?
  9. From what you have said the Premier package does not seem to make sense for you. Perhaps the Plus will work since you can get all the coffee drinks and waters you want every day. The limit of $15 is per drink not per day and limit of 15 alcoholic drinks per day only. I would figure that you may have more coffees and waters than you think. The desserts are good on either package although once you see them you may well say no thank you. It will cover your WiFi and gratuities as well. One thing to mention if the first person gets a package both need to have a package. I see no reason for the Premier package in your case or really anyone except those who drink higher priced wines and lots of them
  10. Don’t make that assumption. We realized it one cruise when we checked our apps and I showed 12 drinks and my wife showed 4. Back in the good old days when the drink package was unlimited it didn’t matter. Yes I know that was a long time ago and didn’t last long
  11. I usually just get vanilla and then change up the various toppings
  12. Limiting alcohol is not happening with us. The spinach seems super salty to me so I ignore it
  13. Think of the situation when one member of the couple is not feeling well do you really want me to have 30 drinks to pound down ? We just have to make it clear that each account gets 1 drink if we are together. I actually ran out once because a junior waiter put 4 glasses of wine and 2 after dinner drinks on my tab during dinner
  14. I sometimes have swelling in my feet on cruises. It is all the salt used on the vegetables in my opinion. Have to watch out for that on long cruises
  15. Doubles count as 2 drinks regardless of which package you have. I usually get a double Sambucca leaving the casino to have in the cabin. I almost always have room on my plus package at that point
  16. A few years ago my wife and I were having sushi on the Royal and our friend who does not like sushi brought a sandwich from the IC. No problem. However it was quiet and if there were limited seating I think it might have been different
  17. I have cruised with Princess for 30 years and they have always had these or the round ones. Not my favorites but doable
  18. Fixed time traditional dining has gone the way of the unicorn
  19. Just make sure you show up prior to the cutoff time for the manifest to be finalized
  20. You can get coffee through the door hanger no need to pay $5. I would advise using the app to make sure you aren’t being charged for someone else’s drinks or specialty dinners
  21. I have not seen a non smoking casino on any Princess ship. There are always some slots where smoking is allowed unless they are sailing in an area that does not allow it such as Australia
  22. The MDR menus are in the app every morning. No problem ordering. Why would I order room service breakfast when I can go to a suite breakfast with incredible service. We also sail with the plus package which covers room service charge
  23. Yeah but with FCD’s you get some OBC also. Good deal
