I would never book any cruise on the first month or so of a new ship. After cruising for over 30 years I have seen issues on multiple ships on multiple lines have issues on the first month or so of sailing. From plumbing and AC issues to things like carpet still being installed on initial sailing There is nothing like the smell of sewage or the sound of hammering to really make for a great cruise
If you are never going to cruise again the you are not what I would call a cruiser. I will bet a large amount of people who booked this cruise multiple times a year
This is how you have to act when you have Covid. They make you stay in your cabin for 5 days and if you want the toilet. Leaned you do it yourself. If you want linens changed they leave them outside your cabin. Personally I only do that when I am sick but if someone wants to clean everything themselves fine but I hope they don’t use that as an excuse to remove gratuities
The old key card already told them how many drinks you had, how often you went to specialty restaurants and spent in stores. What more could they get from a medallion except for where you went around ship ? Plus they have had packages way before the medallion ever came out
Two things to note. The Coral can go through the old Panama Canal locks unlike most ships. That is a huge draw for us. We also like the Ruby but again that is an extra 1,000 passengers and cannot go through the old locks
Whoever even mentioned suite breakfast ? No change there at all it is the lunch menu that was changed. There is no longer a different menu every day just a few item subtracted or added each dayo. Except when they have pub lunch
Since there is no recycle bin in the terminal and you need the medallion to get off the ship how do you reuse them ? We just recycle them with other batteries
360 is not part of specialty dining venues. It is grouped with things like winemakers dinner and chefs table. Did it when it was free for suites and yes it is great but maybe not for the new price
I was referring to the universal we This is all from a third party vendor that Princess hired to run future cruises. From my experience they will push anything and not give you any details until they have your money
I have stayed in several on this class ship and the penthouse wraparound aft balconies are all very large. One consideration would be how far do you want to be from the concierge lounge. We like to be on Riviera deck so we can walk down the hall to get coffee or tea before going to breakfast
Looking at posts that people waited 15 minutes or more for a drink delivery or ont that never showed up it sounds like it would be faster to walk to a bar or in the buffet just ask a server to get one. On our last cruise the few times we ordered wine and beer from a server in the buffet they were delivered in less than 5 minutes
