I have almost always been offered a free dinner by casino hosts because invariable they screw up my free play and have to wait a day or so to get it loaded. Also I have often just gone up to the Sabatini’s manager early evening and been able to sit down around 7:30 or so
At many ports embarkation is an issue since everyone seems to show up before 11 and expect to get on board ASAP. When we saw this in San Francisco we just dropped our luggage and went across the street for beer and a pizza. Came back in about an hour and a half and walked right in
I don’t know why everyone is so hot to pre book dinners. In our experience it has never been a problem to get tables once in board. They do not reserve every single table otherwise they could not offer free meals to casino guests and others to make up for Cruise issues
Yes a long as they are full suites like Owners, Penthouse, Vista, Premium and Window. Mini suites do not get suite benefits but do get Club Class Dining in some that are designated
It is only on certain ships depending on the location of gym. It may be that most of those ships have been decommissioned. I have been on around 50 cruises since 1990 and it used to be quite common on smaller ships where some treadmills were right above cabins. Of course unless there is an employee there some people just ignored the signs
If there had been noro in the room that room would have been thoroughly cleaned by a Hazmat team. If the toilet doesn’t work it can be fixed but most are multiple cabin issues caused by people putting things down them the shouldn’t
A hold is just that a hold on the cabin for a specified time it is not a booking. A booking occurs when a deposit is paid. If we see a cruise we want on a weekend then we put a hold on it and email our CVP to call us on Monday to put on the deposit
Yikes we hate red eye flights. We always book our own flights but often use Princess transfers especially when the port is a distance from where are staying like Southhampton or Rome
If you are in a full suite you can eat in a specialty restaurant on embarkation night for free. Never had a problem just talking to the restaurant manager or calling the dine line after embarking
I have seen multiple offers of free specialty dinners from casino hosts, guest services, officers etc Usually to make up for a mistake someone made or to make up for say an issue in a stateroom
Quick action, call backs within hours if they happen to be on the phone etc. They can escalate within the Princess system and get results. When there are cruises that are only run once or twice a year we let ours know we want a particular cabin maybe a month or so before elites can book and they book it the minute it can be done. Plus she is a really nice person
