  1. That is because the port area is considered y to be administered by the federal government and that is where customs agents are. Ship rules are ship rules not laws especially when they are in international waters
  2. Fitness classes have never been free. Working out on your own has always been free
  3. In Rome at least in the past there was a transfer from a Rome hotel to the ship. I did this several years ago
  4. Sounds like it is time to remove this thread as it is getting personal. Was on the Ruby last month and food was generally good but spinach was way over salted. What did I do ? Stopped ordering spinach. I was ic club class and if spinach was the veggie I just asked for a different vegetable. No problama
  5. Just a note offers seem to be not as great as before. We are getting offers for free balcony and $400 in free play. Before we were getting from $600 to $1,000 in the free play. We have always been able to upgrade to full suites for a price as long as there are some available
  6. The complimentary specialty dinner on embarkation night does not count against any extra ones you have. If you board early the suite will probably not be ready but usually is around noon ish. The mini bar includes the beers and soft drinks in the fridge. You can change alcohol for different types of alcohol but choices are limited and upgraded brands are not part of the mini bar
  7. My point exactly these are rules not laws so I didn’t understand your comment about making something legal
  8. Is this on your travel summary ? I have multiple cruises booked for 2023, first one in March and all of them just say Plus Beverage Package
  9. What law exists out at sea ? If I am off the west coast all the states I am off of have legal MJ ?
  10. Only some mini suites are designated as club class. No way to add club class to a non club class cabin
  11. Depends on what package you have. Unlimited internet is included on both plus and premier packages
  12. We have a 15 day cruise during spring break from Lauderdale. Not concerned about kids on a long cruise but it sure played havoc with hotel prices
  13. We will be on Baja. Never use the concierge lounge much so not a really big deal for us
  14. It seems like no more walking than from aft suites We usually book Penthouse aft wrap around suites on Royal class. In June we have could not get an aft suite for B2B Alaska cruises on the Discovery so we booked one of these forward suites on Baja. Any hints or surprises? Also wondering just how big the balcony is
  15. My PVP does not keep my credit card on file and never has. We have always had to call and give her the number prior to final pay date. I have always gotten a reminder email about 10 days prior to that date
  16. Smoking currently allowed on one side of slots. No smoking allowed on table games
  17. Princess Plus does not come with specialty dining or photos. We also do not need fitness class , special desserts or juice but if each person had a few drinks a day plus free waters, sodas or coffee drinks the plus package really does pay for itself. Yes I know this thread is about paying for plus and getting premier but even without the premier add ins the plus package works for anyone who even has a few cocktails a day. We are also casino guests and almost always have several drinks there as well as beers for lunch , pre dinner cocktails and wine with dinner
  18. That is strange in our 4 cruises this year there were a good selection of desserts if we wanted them. Usually full after appetizers and mains
  19. We were able to get the FCC’s right away. The issue came with reimbursement for Canadian required quarantine in Vancouver back in August. We basically had our PCP escalate it and in about a month we had our check
  20. Balconies are smaller than usual especially on side facing cabins even in suite’s. However the aft penthouse full suites have huge wraparound balconies
  21. There is no way Bartenders are going to handle 2 different plus packages. They always group liquors in the plus package together so when you ask which bourbons you can get under your plan they can just wave to the grouping and say any of those
  22. Yes it should be updated. We once changed staterooms after receiving the medallion and it worked like a charm
  23. We have always been able to talk to restaurant managers when on board and been accommodated Remember they do not offer every table on embarkation night so they can accommodate suite passengers who get complimentary dining on that day. We have called the dine line been told nothing available and walked up to the manager and gotten tables
  24. It is still a very large percentage increase in price. We actually prefer Sabatini’s to Crown Grille
