  1. This is one reason to have travel insurance that will help cover you in this situation. The CDC still says to isolate and to delay your return home. But I know this is not followed by everyone. Domestic Travel During COVID-19 | CDC
  2. We have always had passports but if you don't bring everything you might need- birth certificate marriage license, and photo ID. Thanks for posting the FAQ.
  3. On our 2018 Dream cruise, they made every pour out their cups but offered water bottles for sell at the exit door.
  4. Flashlights are a good option for kids- and us big kids.
  5. Remember nothing is free on the cruise- some things are included in the price or extra.
  6. A cruise cost too much to risk being turned away so I would order all new documents. Good luck!
  7. With the new ships coming, keeping the older ones just doesn't make financial sense and there is no market right now for used cruises ship.
  8. I am bringing the original card, a printout from my doctor and the state health department. I don't want any problems.
  9. I too am early riser and sometimes are waiting for breakfast to open on the ship.
  10. It is my understanding you can now order room service anywhere on the ship so that is a simple solution to the late-night munchies if you are still out and about on the ship. I understand why there is limited late-night food. Low staff and food waste.
  11. You will have to lie when leaving the ship because they will ask you if you have any alcohol with you.
  12. I have never cruise out of Manhattan but out of every other port, they ship request those with early flights to contact them before docking to make arrangements for exiting the ship. IF you do not have an early flight then you are assigned a zone that will be called to exit. Some people do jump the lines and other may be invited to leave early if there is not a lot of people trying to leave at a given time. good luck and enjoy.

  14. I bring a cheap one just in case it confiscated.
  15. In my state birth certificates are not issued by local governments. I understand there are different practices in other states.
  16. Remember birth certificates are state issued and vary from state to state. In my state a short form is valid but this my not be the case for all states. IF I were using a birth certificate, I would order a brand new one from my state agency. I cruise cost too much to run the risk f being turned away.
  17. I have not read anything that indicates an enhanced drivers license is required for cruising.
  18. I have 4 cruises boked, all of them much cheaper than pre-pandemic.
  19. Very good points, I don't think that many people understand how close the cruise line are to going belly-up. Although, they are back to sailing most of their ships I am quite sure their revenues are baring making their expenses. I know because I have four cruises booked for this year and next. All of them sustainably cheaper than any cruises I took in the years before Covid. I am certainly happy about the price but with all the price increases across the board, I do not see how the cruise lines can make-up for all the lost revenue at these rates.
