  1. New Orleans already has a 4 or 5-day cruise departing every Saturday, Thursday, and Monday.
  2. I am sure Carnival will say it is up to your bank and the bank will say it is up to Carnival. We have a similar problem years ago, it took a couple of weeks to resolve it.
  3. I guess all the bartenders and servers on the Breeze, Valor, Glory, and Spirit do not know the rules since they always gave me a full can often unopened.
  4. I have done 4 cruises in the last 24 months on different ships. I was often given unopened cans.
  5. aft of a ship is a nautical term to describe a vessel’s rear section or back end. The rear of the ship can also be called the stern, but aft is often the preferred term when discussing larger vessels like cruise ships.
  6. Read your cruise contract first before you decide how to proceed. I know my contracts always said this was provided and would result in a fee being assessed. Plus you might have some trouble with the French authorities.
  7. If you buy cruise cash I think there is a small fee so I would wait until I got on board. I do not remember slot machines having a 3% fee but it has been about 5 years since I converted a gift card to cash.
  8. Keep trying sorry you are having a problem.
  9. You have to buy the Carnival excursions and then file the claim. It worked for us several times. They denied both of them at first and appealed and after an exchange of emails, they were approved. Once, we did one while onboard and this was approved right away by the shipboard staff. Good luck.
  10. The fish and chips are good and less than $10 the last time I got it.
  11. Pepsi Zero is good but stay away from the Starry.
  12. I cruised several times, I did not see the free breakfast items on the hub App- we had to call.
  13. Yes but they didn't let us drop it off until 10:00.
  14. I think after seven years you do not have any legal recourse but you may need to consult an attorney. I hope you have checked to see if the travel agent was ever arrested or sued. If so then you may find out if there were any recovered funds available. I would try to contact Carnival's legal department since generally have a brain and may be willing to listen to you and your evidence. Good luck. I hate that scammers are everywhere and the travel industry is no exception. this is a good lesson- if a business does not take credit cards don't deal with them.
  15. Okay, that is a good reason.
  16. Right, I have never bought Cheers but several people have offered to get me drinks on the Cheers so I knew but a few I just met on the cruise.
  17. Soon somebody is going to find a bird or fish that choked on a plastic duck and cruise lines will be forced to search your luggage for those ugly ducklings.
  18. If you find the jeep do you get to keep it?
  19. Is buying drinks for people you just met really a thing?
  20. If you have $200 OBC that should cover your first-day purchases so I would skip the Cruise Cash and just put down additional cash once on board.
  21. I was referring to this policy: Guests 12 and younger If the relative or guardian insists on booking separate staterooms, minors must either be directly across the hall or next door. Guests 12 and under may not be assigned to a balcony stateroom without a relative or guardian (25 years of age or older) traveling in the balcony stateroom with them. I understand the original posters concern is a little different since she is claiming a bait and switch was done to her family.
