Just off the Navigator. The thing that resembles a fridge is not. If you need your medicine refrigerated, you can ask when you book, or you can ask your room Stewart.
I definitely would miss the twice a day service. To me it is part of what makes a cruise different from other vacations. I see many are okay with it and that is fine. Perhaps we could be given a choice at the time we book a cruise. Kinda like dining time preference or bed together or separate.
I used to enjoyed tilapia until I learned how they raise it. It usually comes from Viet Nam or some other south east Asian country. There is little over site. The fish are fed chicken droppings. That was enough for me to swear off of tilapia for good. Tilapia is usually the most inexpensive fish at the market. It reproduces at much younger age than most fish and grows quickly. Thus the lower price. Sole is not farmed and is wild caught. It is delicious when it is pan seared and served picatta style.
A long time ago there used to be an international hostess, on board, who could assist people in several languages. Also the compass was available is 5 languages.
MTD on Royal is a mess. They do not do this well. Early dining reservations will not be available. You can try to make reservations on the app but only late times will be available. You can just show up but you will wait. Be prepared for dirty looks. My time dining is anything but.
Carnival needs to limit the consumption of booze. The behavior on their ships is appalling. I didn't feel safe on my last (read final) Carnival Cruise. And I grew up on the streets of New York. Their low prices attract a certain demographic. Especially on shorter cruises.
I agree with the Carnival policy. Many times I have searched for a lounger only to find a sea of empty towel covered chairs. Not everyone is in the pool or at the buffet. A half hour is a reasonable amount of time. Remove their stuff and make them retrieve it so they don't have to pay for the towel.. and don't tell to get there at the Crack of dawn to reserve a seat. I don't get up at dawn when I am on vacation.
Beyond the daily gratuity, do whatever you are moved to do. Do not base your actions on the opinion of others. It is your money. You earned it. Do whatever you want with it.
Please excuse my ignorance but anything that would stick to a magnet would be made of iron. Wouldn't it be too rusty after being in salt water for a period of time? I do see that you would be likely to bring up anything of value. But I am willing to be wrong.
