  1. According to my Seabourn Source app, it’s “Hickory Smoked BBQ Baby Back Ribs” night in Colonnade on the Quest. If that’s true, then that should be the last go around for that Keller favorite on Quest.
  2. Who cares...high-end hotels do this routinely. You get your money back, so no big deal.
  3. The Quest's TKG menu still shows up on my app today. Is your next SB cruise on Quest? I believe that's the only way to view Quest's menus on the app.
  4. I can't believe that a cabin attendant would be allowed to return to work within two days of being diagnosed with Covid. That would violate every standard of care (on ship and on land) that I've ever seen. Additionally, Seabourn certainly wouldn't want her to be spreading Covid to all of the other passengers if for no other reason than it's not in their best interest. Her being out two days sounds as though she was suspected of having Covid, had a negative initial test, was retested 24-48 hours later, and that test was also negative. However, what you describe sure sounds like a strong circumstantial case for her having Covid. Perhaps she was tested and had a false negative result.
  5. Let me split the baby in half: there will be new ships, but they will be expedition ships. I believe this decision will be short-sighted, but these ships are smaller and command a higher premium, so for a small company it might make sense in the short run. Hope I'm wrong!
  6. This sample menu shows some of the standard dishes and some of the rotating dishes.
  7. I would take a screenshot of this just in case it "disappears" from your itinerary.
  8. That is covered in the cruise contract (Booking Terms and Conditions) that we all sign (but don't necessarily read): "Crystal may in its sole discretion and without prior notice change, substitute, postpone, cancel or deviate from any scheduled sailing, itinerary or call at any port, and may substitute another vessel for the ship, and shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by a Guest as a result of any such change, substitution, postponement, cancellation or deviation."
  9. This is the piano from last year's NYE dinner on Sojourn.
  10. I can't comment on the quality of the food since I'm not currently onboard the Quest (that will have to wait until next year), but the New Year's Eve menu for tonight looks darn good to me. Hope it's the same for next year.
  11. Same experience for us here (USA). On the booking platform it was listed as Keller Grill, but the receipt email and the entry in My Itinerary listed it as Solis. And, as Nancy already mentioned, booking for Solis has been available for several weeks.
  12. There's no need to print the reservation. After booking online, you will receive an email confirming your reservation. Just save it.
  13. When you say "earlier" you really mean it.
  14. I'm not saying it's a better cabin. It's a more expensive one.
  15. Upon your recommendation I did the math and it turns out that 63% of passengers on Serenity and 68% of passengers on Symphony used the promenade during calendar years 2016 - 2019
  16. We have our first NC cruise coming up in several months and can't wait for our favorite Jade Martini. We have asked for it on another luxe line on several separate cruises but they didn't know what it was...except on one of the cruises when the bartender was ex-Crystal!
  17. You can always get smoothies in the Colonnade (at least at breakfast) and also in the Square. They rotate the flavors daily among banana, strawberry, mango, etc, as well as "green" smoothies. I asked and was told they had no added sugar. I don't recall having seen ginger shots, but I can recommend Jägermeister shots if you can't find ginger.
  18. ...which describes 90% of the emails in my inbox. No big deal
  19. 100%. But since all the ships will soon have sushi, perhaps SB feels they have already checked that box.
  20. This discount is usually marketed as being for "select" voyages. Then there's the issue of whether the discounts are combinable.
  21. I sure wish that Seabourn would begin or end some of their cruises in San Francisco!
  22. Menu looks fine to me, although I could do without the hyperbolic flourishes that are reminiscent of the Restaurant menu. And they really do need to get a proofreader.
  23. I find the app useful as it shows your itinerary, including TKG reservations and excursions. You can also book excursions from the app and you boarding pass is found on the app. While awaiting your next cruise, you can see the daily menus for each of the restaurants for the ship that you will be taking for your next cruise. I enjoy deciding which restaurant I would go to and which items I would order. But I suppose that doesn't sound very interesting to most people.
  24. Good news indeed! It seems Seabourn is attending to the details and are serious about maintaining/improving F&B on board. These changes, albeit minor, along with the newly initiated sushi in the Club, as well as the new in-suite dining menu and the promised 100 new menu items over the next year are encouraging developments. Sounds like they got the message that they can't rest on their laurels. Now if they could just build a new generation of ocean vessels...
