  1. We are on a 7 day Western Carribean cruise in the Silhouette. We booked on board last year and then transfered our booking to a membership club travel agent. Did anyone else have these codes come up and can you decipher them?

    Under "Special Requests"

    Charge

    EGBPROMO1

    AI CEL AL CL

    Thanks!

I believe EGBPROMO1 is the line indicating that you have the classic bev package promotion which will cancel out the charge they place for the actual on

    the ship.

Should be $343 or around there (for a 7 day)

  2. I know that taking flowers OFF the ship is a no no but is it possible to buy some flowers before boarding?

We're cruising this march for from san juan and I wanted to get some flowers to celebrate wife's birthday.

Does anyone know if there are any flower stand/shop near the pan american pier where the Summit is departing from?

  3. Have any of you had issues with having the 123GO! then when trying to select traditional dining, they want you to prepaid grats even though it's supposed to be included in the 123 All Inclusive?

  4. So, yes I'm venting here

Just checked my reservation, it's finally showing my promised 123 all in & my additional OBC from my open passage, Yea!! :) Happiness, so I will make a nice payment (we like to have our cruises paid off about 6 months ahead of time.

If the Celebrity Official can shed any light on what the heck is going on, I'd appreciate it... How can I be eligible for the 123 all in when I booked, but suddenly not when I just make a payment????

How long did it take for you to show up the OBC and 123 inclusive packages?

All these website issues are giving me jitters.

  5. Go to casino cashier, tell them the amount of cash you want, they will say "you do know there's a fee?" And make out a chit for you to sign. If you want $200 in your pocket, the receipt will show $210 charged to your SeaPass acct. they may ask in conversation, "what game will you play?" And you can just say that you don't know yet.

Somewhere it says that OBC from Celebrity can't be used in the casino but that's never been true in practice

    Great,

    Thank you!

We're about to book 2 european (b2b) cruises in march so we're going to have more OBC then we know what to do with.

  6. I experienced just about everything in this thread.:)

I went to the casino and took out $200 and $210 was taken from the OBN account.

How did you withdraw cash in the casino?

Did you just go to the cashier's cage or?

  7. I rebooked a cruise on board to get the OBC and just picked any cabin in the same category as the one I had already selected. Because it was with a TA I now had two bookings for the same cruise. When I got home, my TA did a 3 way call with Celebrity and then when my TA cxld my original booking, Celebrity grabbed my original preferred cabin for the new booking. Worked perfectly. If your original booking is with X (not a TA) it is much easier to cxl and rebook on board.

Great thanks, good to know that they will do this so that we can get the additional OBC, I'll be booking the original sailings with X.

  8. Are you planning to book CC or above to get the All-inclusive? If so, I would book this week for the reduced deposit of $25 per person, then see what happens. We booked on Sunday to make sure we'd get the all-inclusive in 2017 and to preserve the price. Since we now know the same offer will be available when we board, I'll ask the on board booking agent to do a combine and give us the book on board OBC. If they won't, I'll text my TA, cancel the one I have, then book on board back into the same cabin.

If you just want a balcony, I would wait. The standard 123GO evergreen offer on the ship should still be there.

Yep we got our eyes on a concierge class cabin to get all the perks for europe 2016. I'll have my phone with me so I should be able to cancel if needed.

  9. We are debating on a back to back on the equinox for europe 2016.and we have found a room that we really liked.

With the current 123 promo & reduced deposit it seems sweet to book now but the main hold back is that we have a cruise with celebrity coming up in march.

    That's a little 2 months from now.

Onto the question, is it possible to book now then should 123 GO is still happening during our cruise in march, cancel and get the sameroom while on the ship to get the additional OBC?

  10. You know what, I am going to get slammed but oh well... It amazes me that people get upset and throw a tirade over something like this... Have we all lost perspective of life.. It's vacation, your going to enjoy it, wether you are on the Breeze or Fantasy.. Wether your in St. Maarten or Nasau... If this is the worse thing that happens to you in the next 7 months guess what, your living life.. I would hate to see these people having to deal with things in life such as not having a job, being an alcoholic and not being able to overcome it, losing a loved one to a car accident or a random shooting, and I could go on... It's business, every business has to make decisions and unfortunately not everyone can be pleased by the decisions. Every one complains but nobody offers solutions.. Do you not think the management at Carnival went through every single option possible, probably multiple times and this is the decision they made as it was best for all parties.. And by the way, I received a letter today from the IRS saying I owe them $590 from 2011 tax returns and it's 2014, almost 2015. But you know what, I will figure it out, if I owe the money I will pay them but I won't sit around and badmouth them for doing there job...

Oh get off your high horse mr million dollar man.

Where are you guys getting this from?

  12. Received an email from CCL this AM saying that the Valor and the Liberty are switching homeports. We are booked for the Liberty 4/25/15 out of Pt. Canaveral and are now booked on the Valor. The email said that since they are the same ship class that they would be swapping people room for room. So your Valor trip might not be cancelled, just changed to the Liberty (which already has 2.0 upgrades). Keep watch for an email!!!

Those of us on the valor 3/22 are in suspense right now as there's no way for the liberty to leave cape canaveral and get to sju the same day to pick up passengers!

  13. I just checked on Delta for flying to San Juan and then flying back from Orlando. If we do it as Multi-city flights it will cost us about $50 more but then there is the $200pp change fee. So that is $500 more. Ugh!!! Hopefully Carnival will help with the change fee.

    Sharon

Hm I have not booked my flight yet so that's not bad, I use kayak for searching, thanks for the tip, gonna try delta now.

  14. Oh! Gee! Thank you for hoping our cruise will be cancelled for a dry dock  .

It looks like we will have to be making other plans that just might not include Carnival. Maybe this is the time to try Celebrity. The Summit is cruising from San Juan on March 21 for 7 days. We are arriving on March 19 so it would be a possibility. It all depends on what Carnival says and what they offer to compensate for our airfare that would have to be changed. And it is not on Southwest, it is on Delta so there is a hefty change fee.

    Sharon

    I feel you there.

We budgeted 1800 for 2 for airfare to fly down to SJU (round trip) but it's going to double that if it's 2 1-way flights departing from Orlando & SJU
