  1. I want to say it was either 150 or 180 Euro. Split with the group we shared it was VERY reasonable.

It will be just the 2 of us.

Does anyone think that it's kinda odd/rude to just hand some money to the guide at the end of the tour?

It could be considered almost rude where I'm from.

  2. Does anyone know how much it is for the vatican guide for 3 hrs is?

I'm trying to figure out how much to tip the guide if any since will be paying the driver in full the day before for the Rome 2 Days package.

  3. So it looks like we just get the new cards the night before. Debark early and start touring Barcelona and get back later in the afternoon after the crowd has boarded?

Do we have to take our passport off the ship and go thru immigrations and custom?

We are staying in the same room so we don't have to worry about moving valuable

    Thank you all.

  4. I was wondering if anyone have had any experience on disembarking during the change over on the mid point of their b2b?

Traditionally I know the B2B passengers are walked off then walked back on, but we want to go into town (Barcelona) at this point.

At the same time, we rather not have to go through the lines etc to get our new stateroom keys/cards etc.

    So how does this work?

We want to be able to leave the same soonish, 8 or so that we can enjoy barcelona. They don't usually walk the B2B off until 9:30 or 10AM right?

    Thanks.

  5. Has anyone ever stayed in this cabin? Would love some info about it and it's deck! Thanks

The deck is very convenient as it's close to lido, but do not pick this cabin as it's directly under the treadmills with the gym above unless you enjoy being woken up by shaking cabin walls and thumps in the ceiling.

Also the door that leads to the fore deck front of the ship is by the head board so if people slam that door, which they do all the time, your cabin wall will also shake.

So either book same deck but a few cabin back or go one deck under where you'd be sandwiched between cabin decks.

  6. My family and I will be traveling on the Summit in August. This is our first time on Celebrity. There will be 9 of us total.

Does anyone know if we will be able to all sit at the same table? We all have anytime dining (Not sure if that is the right name for Celebrity). I know all of us will not be together every night but on the nights that we are it would be nice.

Yes, just got off the summit and they had a large "sharing" table for select dining but with the size of your company you should be able to fill it completely.

    It sat 10 I counted.

  7. For such a port intensive itinerary, but none are tendered, how efficient is celebrity at disembarking people?

On carnival it's HORRIBLE because the ship's photographer trap people right on the ramp to take pics so it slows everything down.

Does celebrity do this? Also carnival seems like are too lazy to open more then 1 door to let people out.

    Does celebrity use 2?

Tried asking in many of the "just off this cruise ask me anything" but have never gotten a response.

    Thanks.

  8. It will be a non refundable OBC. You will need to use it or lose it. Some people take cash at the Casino for the 5% commission. I do not know if this is still allowed or not. You can use it for anything else on the ship, spa, gift shops, etc. Enjoy

    Let's hope it's still allowed.

Not sure what I'm going to do with $400 OBC considering we already have 123 GO :)
