  1. Thank you for the link! However, even when I have tried using that, along with reservation number (or the generic info) it defaults to an error message to call NCL for help (or it takes me back to the page you posted). We certainly don't need to order the water, but I was testing the ability to order it that way! 😀
  2. Yes, that is exactly what I find for each of our booked cruises! However, I haven't found the ability to order water as a gift at $49 (+20%) as stated in POST #27. And, the link to "order it as a gift" takes me to pricing as you have shown above!
  3. I don't blame you for being frustrated! Unfortunately, even at the new Miami port, they don't seem to care about embarkations (and disembarkations). When they said over the PA, "Platinum members may now board," it showed that the port workers DO NOT have a clue! It seems that NCL hasn't bothered to give them a scripted pattern for embarkation procedures. It seems too logical to actually allow the tiers to board based on higher-to-lower status, which we have been lead to believe, by NCL, should matter.
  4. Due to multiple cancelled excursions on our recent cruise on the PRIMA, we ended up with over $400 being refunded in cash (most of which was given to us in "Tens"!) 🙃🤔
  5. I can not tell you why that happens. However, we have had some odd incidents that caused us to call NCL. We have been especially lucky that everything was fixed to the ways we wanted, on multiple occasions!
  6. I would guess that you are about to get bombarded with advice! With NCL you are not required to "Dress Up" (formally) on ANY night. There will be one Main Dining room. On the Dawn that is either The Venetian (deck 6 AFT) or Aqua (deck 6 MID), and also Le Bistro, which DO NOT allow short for evening meals. Don't feel that you "Shouldn't dress-up if you are so inclined! Many cruisers still love to dress nicely for photos and such!!!
  7. We had never had a problem making it to GSC, until this year. Two separate cruises, so far, have not been able to visit GSC. We are scheduled to be at GSC on 12/15. Good luck to you!
  8. I could not find it at that price point, either (for any of our 4 reservations)!
  9. I had noticed and took advantage of booking (while that glitch was live) a Clam Shell for our cruise on the PRIMA. When we got onboard, our excursion tickets were printed a little differently than previously, so I asked at the Shore Excursion desk. We were told (at that time) that yes, there would be NO charge. However, $35 later showed-up on our account ($50 minus Latitudes discount). That was of no concern to us because we had plenty of OBC on our account. Sadly, the day at GSC was cancelled due to Hurricane Nicole. Therefore, the $35 charge was removed.
  10. Did you search for your cruise dates here? (Hopefully you find what you want!) https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/266-norwegian-sun-roll-calls/
  11. Did you, by chance, mean PRIDE of AMERICA, or a different cruise line?
  12. Hopefully, the Terms and Conditions shown below help to answer some of your questions... If you are traveling solo, the meal is for you only, and a "table-mate" would need to have their own package. As for making reservations, you may do that online when logged into your account around 120 days prior to your cruise date (or when your FINAL PAYMENT is due). If you are closer to sail date, have logged into your account and found the "Food and Beverage" link? You should be able to also find access to making reservations there. . *** Terms and Conditions: Specialty Dining Package Package Meals Retail Value20% Gratuities 3-6 Nights1 Meal / Any Stateroom$50.00 per person$10.00 per package 7-11 Nights1 Meal / Studio, Inside, Oceanview$50.00 per person$10.00 per package 7-11 Nights2 Meals / Balcony & Above$89.00 per person$17.80 per package 12+ Nights2 Meals / Studio, Inside, Oceanview$89.00 per person$17.80 per package 12+ Nights3 Meals / Balcony & Above$119.00 per person$23.80 per package Applicable to guests 1-2 on the reservation Dining package is applicable to guest ages 2 and older Package prices are subject to change Guest is responsible for 20% gratuities on the retail value of the Specialty Dining Package prior to cruise 20% gratuities on the retail value of the Specialty Dining Package are included when booking through the Australia office For Casino booked reservations – promotion code CASFAS will be added under referral code CASUPALL on sail lengths 7 nights or longer for Balcony and above staterooms Packages are based on a per meal basis Any Harvest Caye bars, restaurants, or venues, The Bake Shop, Ice Cream Bar, Gelato, specialty items in the Asian restaurant, Special Occasion/Holiday menus (New Year's, Christmas, etc.), Jazz Brunch, Wine Lovers and Murder Mystery lunches, and beverages are not included as part of the Specialty Dining Packages Guests are permitted to pre-reserve specialty dining with entertainment included However, the guest is responsible to pay the full retail value If the guest chooses to use the reservation as part of their specialty dining package, they will need to make these arrangements once onboard Specialty Dining Packages include one main course per person at Cagney's and Le Bistro Additional main courses will be charged at the a la carte price listed on the menu There is no minimum or maximum to the number of meals that can be redeemed in a day, however each meal is counted towards the package
  13. It is an enjoyable show, with a mix of talents, showcasing Donna Summer's life. I learned things I had never known about her. DH & I would rate it at a 7+.
  14. Most likely stating something to the effect of "doneness" of the salmon and/or Beef Wellington!
  15. Are you asking about booking a cruise with a deposit? If so, the deposit is refundable in full if cancelled prior to Final Payment date (which varies somewhat). check here: https://www.ncl.com/about/payment-schedule
  16. I can completely understand how disappointing that would be. Hopefully, you get an ideal situation on your next cruise!
  17. I had the same thought! Then I realized that OP is booked on the Dawn (which has fewer "bells and whistles.") Prices can vary greatly based upon: ship, itinerary, and duration of cruise. None-the-less, if I wanted to utilize the Spa Suite during an 11 day cruise, the $259 seems reasonable by today's standards. (Break the cost down by the number of days. If used only 6 days, it would be under $44 per day!)
  18. Sandwiched between deck 10 and deck 12 should give you mostly a quiet location (unless people are simply not mindful of their vocal volume). If a significant medical emergency happened while you were in your room, you MIGHT be aware of commotion up on deck twelve. Otherwise, I would imagine that you have an ideal location selected!
  19. We have witnessed the above. We certainly don't feel that being a "Platinum or above" matters to NCL when boarding. Yet, it does seem particularly sad that NCL doesn't care what happens during boarding within the Miami terminal. If they can't make more effort there, it really has no real value.
  20. Price is more likely to go up, or possibly the passes sell out.
  21. We have not been back to Harvest Caye since late 2019, however, (if I recall correctly) burgers plates, and such, were in the $14+ range. At that time, the restaurant was one of the Jimmy Buffet chain. Villa servers will deliver food to you if desired. Anyway, if we were returning soon and wanted to eat on the island, I would anticipate adding approximately 20%+ to the cost of each meal. Basically, expect $20 per plate plus tips. Unfortunately, neither DH, nor I, can remember if we needed to pay cash for everything, or use a credit card. I hope this helps, somewhat!
