  1. I think most people like whatever ship is in Baltimore for the convenience of just driving to the port.....There isn't alot of people flying to Baltimore to jump on Vision is there, when there is so many other options to fly to in Florida.
  2. On this dry dock for Vision, are they actually changing/adding things or is this just adding lip stick to a pig dry dock? Does anyone know?
  3. I assume not all bridges have the capabilities of building the supports on land though. The length of the span also can make this a problem and the type of bridge it is. Suspension bridge, etc. This was just an unlucky event,if this issue happens with the ship out at sea all we maybe hear about is a stranded ship out at sea and it is towed back to a port for repairs.
  4. I wouldn't be surprised, have you ever seen the size and weight of a container ship this size looks like in person? Any ship this size moving even at a slow pace could take out any bridges piers like this. The objective of ships this size or any size is not to run into the piers holding up a bridge.
  5. Not much, Just trying to lay low....................those low beds above in a earlier post may come in handy!
  6. You can always take an Amtrak Train from Norfolk, Va to Baltimore Penn Station, it's about a 5 and half hour train ride, then 5 mile Uber ride to the Port in Baltimore. On our last cruise we took an 8 hour train Ride from Roanoke, Va. to Newark Penn Station,NJ. It was a fun way to get to a cruise without dealing with freaking airports.
  7. You can tell where some of the locals live where the smoke comes up through the trees on the shore. Some are not very far from the compound(Royal's fenced in area.)
  8. Seen the first show and enjoyed it somewhat, but since I haven't figured out what night it is on on regular TV or if you just have to stream it off one of the pay channels.
  9. Had my first Keto Big Mac Salad tonight, it was very good and plenty filling enough. Really surprisingly enjoyed it. No sugar at all in the dressing(sauce) I made that taste so close what McDonalds uses without all that sugar. https://thatlowcarblife.com/big-mac-salad/ Next to try the Big Mac Chaffle, the waffle(bun) is made out of egg and mozzarella in a waffle iron.
  10. What is the platform with red umbrella just a little ways away from your Cabana for? Seems like that could be farther away for more privacy?
  11. Remember it quite well back in 2012 when Any Reid was the Head Coach of the Philadelphia Eagles his son Garret Reid(29) was found dead at training camp of an overdose of Heroin. Some of Andy's 5 children never adjusted very well to the surroundings around them and all the time their Father was away from their home. Some kids just handle that different. It's a real shame how tough it has actually been for that family outside of the lime life of football. Still Andy's favorite saying back then was the same as it is today. " I got to do a better job" For some of his kids it never happened. 😞
  12. It's really sad though what the Governor of Missouri did though letting Britt Reid out of jail with only serving 16 months for what he did, anyone else would have been in Jail a lot longer. "It’s because the Governor of Missouri is a Chiefs fan, went to the Super Bowl, went to the after parties, went to the parade and the rally and even has a Chiefs tattoo,” https://sports.yahoo.com/former-chiefs-assistant-britt-reid-cut-the-line-into-the-nfl-now-he-cut-the-line-out-of-prison-180036459.html 😞
  13. Looks like most people are walking between the light poles on the pier, just no one walking to the right of the light poles.
  14. This looks like a pretty good concept, was thinking of @CSHS1979 and @island lady https://villavieresidences.com/ This is even much cheaper then the Serenade World Cruise since you own the cabin itself for 15 years. Even with the monthly fees per person, still seems like a very good deal. This might be even a great thing for Super Mario to look into, probably would save him ALOT of $$$. 15. It's very good, they also give salad, rice and beans and soft flour tortillas All the proteins are served in a real "Hot" stone bowl. It's listed in the Fajitas section of the menu.
  16. Just got back from going out for dinner. Mu Wife had Shrimp Fajitas and I had a dish called a El. Volcano Molcajete Also went to Sam's Club and saw this, 10lb box of Bacon. Is this good for my diet?
  17. Haven't been on it, but I'm betting it seems outdated by this time. Introduced in 1997 and last refurbished in 2022
  18. Here is a couple(fb) that did it during the day when Serenade was docking. I think I would like it better doing it during the day more then at night, can see more.
  19. Thought maybe hit up this place at Bayside, don't want to say the name I might be away for awhile again. Probably a little more reasonable priced. A fun place. I know Owen would have enjoyed it. 😉 Great views there also. Check out the pics on the link I posted. https://www.opentable.com/r/bacon-*****-bayside-miami?ref=1068
  20. I upgraded my guess a little later on the thread and got it correct. Bayside is more like doing as the locals do.............opposed to H/K which only some can go to.
