    I suggest checking prices on August 18, 2027. There likely will be a temporary reduction in prices that day, but that day only.

    Yes, I agree, however most are more likely to fly more often then cruise. So, it might be more reasonable to "meet the standard" for flying. Because of B2Bs, we cruise more often then we fly. I'd be fine with perhaps a 5 year sunset on some part of one's cruise loyalty status. Heck, we are Elite plus (2,000 + pts) on Celebrity and haven't sailed on them for 7 years.

    Not sure they are reducing the number of staff as much as they can’t hire enough qualified individuals. Also the stateroom total is not doubling. Somewhere in the 50% more staterooms. Depending on the stateroom types.

    We like the pay to play system that cruises have now. Sure prices are higher than I’d like, but I get to make the decision to play or not. Until more passengers choose not to play, the prices will continue to rise.
