(I will go first thing but no status so wouldn’t be one of the first) When one rents a cabana is it for your cabin or how many? Those cabanas look large and we are traveling with 2 other couples. I am sure all 6 wouldn’t go but can 4? I thought the loungers were priced for 2. Can we pay for more (4) in a cabana if only priced for 2? That is a lot of space for 2

From looking at renting a bungalow, you can not choose which one ahead of time. Am I missing something?

When I reserved and paid for it, it asked for date. Is that date not guaranteed? It didn’t ask time.

When we were on another line last summer, the cigar room was full and people were buying cigars. I hate smoke but went in the with my husband after dinner and was quite impressed how well the vent system was. I couldn’t see the smoke and it wasn’t a strong smell at all. He only used the room twice and said both times it was full. They only allowed cigars in the room. You could bring your own but most seemed to have bought them there.

@Rick&JeannieFunny you should say that because the first booking of four, private was the only choice. The second booking, sharing was available to click both reserved for Crown Grill. Share was available for me and the other party that went on the app at the same time. You have to love the new app. We will correct it or not when we get on board.

Just an FYI- even though we both have premier package (2 couples-2 cabins), they let me link on specialty dinner for 4 with no charge.Then the app let me reserve for my booking number only with no charge. When I tried to make it for 4 it tried to charge for 2. They made their own the same time and we both said we would share. I will go to the restaurant when we get on to seat us together. We don’t care if we are with others also. All the MDR reservations were able to link without issue.

I booked the Thermal on Emerald because I always use the sauna after a work out but I have heard so many negatives, I am thinking it’s not worth the $$. I hate that as I like to relax in a sauna and relax on the warm chairs. It has always been a great way to get away from the crowd on other cruises.

CC just talked me into surprising my husband with a UBD as we are leaving St Kitts. Thank you @PacnGoNow for the idea of a port evening as we leave at 6p so I will schedule at 530. We are just taking the train tour that day so it will be nice to relax and sit on the balcony. It let me schedule the day but not the time so I guess we do that once on board.

Does that mean you now had 2 of your 15 allowed? The 15 total number of drinks will be quickly used if you have to double order them. I thought 15 was more than enough and now I am thinking they offer 15 to make up for the Ocean Now app

@skynight Very well posted. I should have said no assigned check in time. Many lines are going to this and I like it much better.

We always get a few hundred OBC and usually spend it all while on board. We have premier but there are still things to spend it on. Not sure how long the cruise is but laundry is always an option. We also pay for pressing for our linen material clothing. Buy a bottle of wine at the package discount to keep in your cabin. Another thing we did on the last few cruises was buy our sunscreen and some other items we didn’t want to pack at the shops. We have never left a ship with a zero balance even on the “all-inclusive” ships.

There are no set times to board. But there is a place to include you flight times when you fill out the check-in steps. It’s listed under travel information.

I am not sure what is the reasoning behind not making casual restaurants reservations ahead of time. I am sure there is a reason but that would free up some of the MDR reservations. I have all 10days booked but planning on trading out some of the MDR times for casual once we get on board and we are able to do so.

True but the OP title stated Thermal Suites Price Increase, so I wanted to include that Emerald prices did not increase. Maybe ships that have Enclave have had an increase just to distinguish from the title.

Just checked Emerald in June and the price did not go up. YET

You may be thinking of EZ check. For 25.00 they will send your bag to the airport from the ship. You have to ask for the form once on board. Not sure if the airline will hold it for that many hours in FLL. I am sure someone here has a picture of the form.

@dizgal64yes the app is terrible, then you have to call customer service which can make it worse. I was on chat, phone and app all at the same time trying to get them to correct the medallion shipped to me instead of pier pick up. Even though they had us green lane. No I haven’t tried to edit reservations in a few days. I think last Wednesday was the last time.

We are traveling with 2 other couples. Two of us want to rent clam shells, one does not. Are any of the clam shells near regular chairs? We are thinking we might need to just rent umbrellas instead.
