I tried a new item on the lunch menu today, the plant-based chicken tacos. They were really good. I had several servers asking me how they were as it was the first time they had seen them on the menu.

Today's lunch and dinner menus. I apologize for the light spots. I take the photos from the glass wall mounted displays and I can't figure out a way to eliminate the spots.

Tonight's extra dish in the Reserve Dining Room was Ossobuco. Tonight's wine, purchased in Sydney. We held a mini tasting with the Sommelier and our Restaurant Manager. We scored it a solid 93 points.

Yes, but we have not spent very much time there. We have friends onboard that are in a balcony and we are mostly hanging out in Vines.

The Majestic currently has 6 Sommeliers onboard. I would ask to speak with your restaurant manager. Hope your situation improves!

Have you seen a Sommelier in your dining room? We are on the Majestic and the Sommelier in our dining room has been bringing us glasses of wines that have been available in Vines (Silverado Cab, Paraduxx Blend, Grigich Hills Merlot).

Today's lunch menu. Today's ice creams were Oreo Cookie and Torrincino. We have been skipping dessert, but could not resist the Oreo Cookie! It was delicious! After the start-up, their ice cream choices were only vanilla and chocolate. They have now gone back to making different flavors on a daily basis.

The changeover to USD occurred when we boarded in Sydney. Btw, I just spoke to the Casino manager. He said the Casino will be smoke-free until Vancouver. After that, he is hoping it will stay that way but he suspects that he will be told that it will revert to smoking.

We checked out the Arcade on deck 6, adjacent to the Casino. Prices for the games ranged from $1.50 to $3.00. Btw, there was no smoke in the Casino. 🤷♂️

Cloudy, breezy and a bit cool today. Not quite pool weather yet. I was mistaken last night, we lose an hour tonight (clocks forward 1 hr).

We just received the below notification for our April of 2025 voyage on the 32-day, Sapphire South Pacific cruise. Please be advised that due to operational considerations, Sapphire Princess will no longer call to Lahaina, Hawaii on Monday, April 14, 2025 and will instead call to Kona, Hawaii from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on this day.
