As an add on, if you book through a TA do you have access to your edoc or is it something the TA has to do for you. Reason I ask is we are 45 days or so out, paid in full and online Check in complete... still no access to edocs. Have never used a TA before so just curious.

You can print your edoc 30 days 24hours from sailing

I've been on the Escape and GA but have never seen a reference to the Lido deck. While reading other sub forums (gasp) I see this referred to often, what deck is it? And why doesn't NCL refer to it as such? Yes I could Google it but I'd much rather ask the experts.

On a cruise ship or ocean liner, the deck with outdoor pools and surrounding facilities are often designated the lido deck.

Do you want to see the horrible scratch that brought us here?
Yep. That's it. LOL
But the doctor said she would need a tetanus shot if she hadn't had one recently. I knew she was up to date with her immunizations so he didn't give her one. The doctor was really wonderful with her. He also said that her knee was a little swollen and a little warm compared to the other one, and to keep an eye on it.
Security also came to talk to us to find out exactly what had happened. They were sending maintenance to check out the slides and make sure they were safe. We were not charged for our visit to the Medical Center.
Better safe than sorry

I wonder if we will have to pay the tax in port for those three days ?
So many things to try and remember and now I'm more stressed then excited
Bermuda Passenger Cabin Tax (for cruise ships)
The passenger or cruise cabin tax in Bermuda is charged to the owner of the cruise line. This is generally passed on to the passengers by the cruise line as part of the overall cruise package. The tax is calculated based on the number of passenger cabins on a ship and the number of nights during which the ship is docked or anchored in Bermuda.
The rates vary by the time of the year. Here are the current rates for Bermuda Passenger Cabin Tax per cabin and per night:
May 1 to August 31: $14.00
September 1 to October 31: $10.00
November 1 to April 30: Nil for non listed ships
November 1 to April 30: $10.00 for Schedule 2 ships
The tax needs to be paid out by the cruise line to Bermuda Tax Commissioner within 7 days of departure.
Bermuda is known as the tax haven. In Bermuda there is no income tax, capital gains tax, VAT, sales or wealth tax

i don't see where the 30% off is coming in to play. I just click on our sailing, which is one of the cruises provided under the promotion, and the pricing is still the same as it was before.
1 usd = 1.3432 cad

I'm not talking about that.
I'm talking about the alleged "hygiene" issues of asking a bartender to fill a personal mug compared to a soda card tumbler.
In other words, I'm insinuating that there is no difference.
For the OP, I imagine your friendly neighborhood bartender would be happy to fill your Tervis travel mug as it is essentially the same thing as the disgusting soda card tumblers.
Still can't charge the 18% if they don't supply the soda card tumbler
never mind

We're sailing on the Getaway on May 1, and we had already made a reservation for both shows; yesterday we received two e-mails (one for each show) saying that due to schedule changes the shows are cancelled.
We called our cruise representative, and she said she had no idea about it, and proceeded to check her e-mail (?), then told us that she also received yesterday an e-mail saying that both shows are cancelled on that sailing, and I think she mentioned also other dates when shows were being cancelled as well; no more information was provided, nor what will be replacing them during that time.
Does anybody know what is going on?, or if this is something that usually happens?
This is the e-mail we received:
On Norwegian Escape, "For the Record: The Brat Pack," a musical that's based on John Hughes' movies, will become the free show in the Escape Theater starting on April 16. The Supper Club, which carries a fee of $24.95 for banquet seating and $29.95 for floor seating, will receive a new show on April 9.
"Million Dollar Quartet," the Broadway show that follows a night in the recording studio with Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash, will be moving from Norwegian Escape as of the March 5 sailing and will reopen on Norwegian Getaway on May 15.
Until "For the Record" begins, a contemporary a capella group Vocal Overdrive will perform in the Escape Theater. "After Midnight" will also continue as regularly scheduled.
"Legally Blonde" will be closing on Norwegian Getaway on April 30 to make room for "Million Dollar Quartet;" Vocal Overdrive will perform on Getaway from May 1 to May 15, until the show opens. "Burn the Floor" will continue as regularly scheduled.

what's the difference between a personal travel mug/cup/whatever and those disgusting soda package tumblers they refill all day long?
they can't charge the 18% service charge

Which is what OP was asking. So yes, her 18 year old can drink on their European cruise. However, it isn't only in Europe. On US trips they can also drink beer and wine with just with the signed waiver from the parent. My brother did this with his son on a Caribbean cruise this summer. No need for all the legalese when a simple yes or no would suffice for the original question.
No OP was asking if she could get UBP AT 18
