Oh, if only some of the extra rain from everywhere could be sent to the Pacific Northwest. 1/3 of an inch of rain so far this month. We did get 10 drops this morning and hopefully tomorrow is a day of rain-time will tell. And the temps are finally under 80.

Thanks again!

Is this the cruise? 42-Day Ultimate Mediterranean & Atlantic Passage. There's nothing in November, 2024 that is called Atlantic Adventurer. I wish the search feature would let you search by cruise name. Thanks again.

Thanks!

We're booked on the Volendam's Atlantic Adventurer for 2024
What month is the cruise? I couldn't find it on the HAL website. Thanks!

Yes, we’ve used the credit in the shops for just about everything. My DH first buys his favorite Scotch and then whatever I find. Last cruise I ended up with 3 pair of specialty socks for Christmas stockings to use up the last of the credit. 😁

In my case, we didn’t pay anything for the upsell, and all our perks stayed the same.

On our last cruise I was regularly checking prices after final payment. The vista suite was less than the price we had paid for the verandah. Had my TA call for an upsell, knowing it was less, and got the vista cabin for no extra.

Wow-I have a lot to catch up on since I left home on Wednesday. Heading to a convention in Grand Rapids, Michigan but first, 3 friends and I left a few days early to visit Mackinac Island. We've heard about it for years and finally made it. It was a long day, pleasantly cool and just a few sprinkles of rain. Tomorrow, we drive to Grand Rapids with a few quilt shop stops on the way. 😊 Have a great weekend everyone.

@smitty34877If you don't mind, perhaps you could give a brief description of why Camille is so special to everyone. There have been quite a few new members of the Daily that might be interested. Thanks!
@rafinmdMy friend has the Samsung watch that includes fall detection. She has been very happy with it-once she figured out what everything does (she's 91).

How many of these threads do we need????
I like to read different opinions and see what I might have missed. If the title isn't something I'm interested in, I ignore it.

We did the partial transit last fall and did a tour that included visiting the new locks visitor center and then a nature walk. Loved it!

Good Afternoon/Evening Everyone! It's been a busy day with the morning filled with the sewing group for our hospital comfort quilts, then some yard work and now to fix a birthday dinner for DS who is visiting from near Atlanta. And whenever he visits, I must make potato salad so perfect for this day. Dill pickles are a must along with eggs and celery plus a bit more pickle juice. I used to cook the potatoes and then peel them but found it easier and faster to peel and cube first. Another too hot day for "rainy" Seattle area-blah! And still trying to figure out how DS is 51 already. Have a great evening.

@Cruzin TerriDo you have your bathroom and kitchen stove exhaust fans on? I've found that helps remove some of the hot air that rises.

@ger_77Gerry, my next air fryer will have French doors instead of the drop down door. I’m tired of scrubbing baked-on crumbs from the glass.

Hi Jacqui, unfortunately we’ve had to cancel our September, 2023 Alaska cruise. Off the list we must go🥲.

Thank you for all the photos of Singapore. We will be there in January, 2025-a long wait but should be an interesting cruise. As for actually threading a needle, you might find it easier to hold the thread still in one hand and move the needle eye toward the thread rather than the other way. And I just noticed last month that the SEATAC parking garage also has the green lights for parking spaces. For some reason though, they weren't always accurate. Our rain didn't last long but did have another shower late in the afternoon and then a beautiful, large, bright rainbow right over the airport. Take care everyone and stay cool.

Would you mind sharing the name of the charter transfer company and location of the Tukwila pick up? Thanks!!

Thanks. I usually spend a couple of hours when I’m there. And others have reported that they might spend $20.00 and get an offer. It’s a mystery to me.

DH and I cruise both Princess and HAL. I play in the casino most every evening. I have never received an offer from either cruise line. Is there something I'm not doing that I should be doing? We've done nearly 20 cruises total but nothing! Thanks.

If you decide to put in a forward to a PO Box, there should be a spot on the forwarding order to mark that the forward is temporary and an end date is given. That way the mailer is not notified of a permanent change of address. Be prepared for the cost of the box-the prices have risen lately, and often there are no boxes available to rent.

It’s raining, really raining! And for longer than 10 minutes. I hope eastern Washington and BC get enough to slow down the fires.
