Hi Chickadee, off topic but I can't find the menus on the Navigator for every day. Just one shows up. We're on board Oct. 30 also. Can't wait! (and remaining positive about sailing, not testing 😮😊).

Another thought on the keyboard issue---my chiropractor advised me to raise my laptop on my table and use a wireless keyboard. It helps with the sore neck and upper back muscle aches. Anyway, a wireless keyboard might help before buying a new laptop.

That sounds like what I do! I do take prescription bottles in my carry on . Unfortunately our HMO does 90 days, so the containers are large.
We belong to Kaiser and when it's time for a refill before a cruise I take my large containers to one of their clinic pharmacies (rather than the usual mail order) and ask for small containers. I explain why I'm asking for them and it hasn't been a problem.

OMG - it's not raining in Seattle! (the one reason I don't live there anymore). Ah, the Lido. Loved the Lido on every HAL ship we've been on.
Oh how we'd all love some rain about now. Even my dandelions are brown! We had 5 minutes of a very light mist last week but haven't seen real rain for months!

We (hopefully) will be in Barcelona in October. After doing some research we realized 1 or 2 days ahead of our cruise wasn't going to be enough so we're booked for 5 nights. Can't wait!

I guess I was lucky. I noticed my card had Susie instead of the dreaded Susan so I went back to our pharmacy and they made out a new card-plus gave me the old one back. I'm ready to go but have to wait until the end of October.🤕

2 other good used for the Instant Pot. It does rice very well and amazing hard boiled eggs! I was so surprised how easy it was to do perfect eggs.
I can see across the water to SEA TAC airport today-smoke is clearing a bit, thank goodness. Take care everyone.

DH and I are now seriously thinking of having A/C put in the house. Even though our hot weather doesn't last for weeks or months like other parts of the country, it's pretty miserable when it comes.
If your house already has duct work consider a heat pump. Works very well!

One thing I am sure of, I would advise you to test for covid before you ever leave Florida. I have read of several of your fellow Floridians testing positive before their cruises and they have been entirely without symptoms.
That sounds like a great idea.

Your photos of downtown Seattle are crystal clear and beautiful. I'm sure I saw your plane land today.😊 We're just across the water from SEA TAC. Have a fantastic cruise and stay safe.

We have had success in the past by contacting Ships Services to have the cooler emptied before we board. We also request that the robes be removed.

To end the day, we just had RAIN-we're directly across from SEA TAC airport. Huge drops came down for almost 5 minutes and now the thunder has started. A few more drops here and there with some darkish clouds hanging around. Fingers crossed they don't blow away. It's been 49 days without rain in the rainy Seattle area.

It wasn't advertised on their website but the Hampton Inn near the airport has a weekly parking rate. You can take their shuttle to the airport and then the light rail to downtown.

A question for anyone who has used the luggage service from Seattle or Ft. Lauderdale--does the system recognize passengers who are eligible for no fee bags on the plane? Thanks!

What a perfect day is Seattle for sailaway! 83 degrees, blue skies and no clouds. Humidity at 50% with just a slight breeze. Wish every port could be as pleasant.

Definitely a goosebumps moment! I'm setting an alarm so I remember to check back at 3:30.

And it's nice to take home beautifully pressed clothes-makes returning to cooking and cleaning just a bit easier.

How bizarre is it that most of the world has rain and sometimes too much rain, and here in the "rainy" Seattle area we haven't seen rain in over a month. Eastern Washington and eastern Oregon could do with a good dump of rain without any wind. Friend's daughter and family have evacuated twice from the Sisters, OR area but so far their house had escaped the fires-just some embers in the yard. Still very scary! Stay safe everyone.

We've used the turnaround in Ft. Lauderdale for a quick taxi ride across the highway for a stop at Total Wine and the grocery store.

Halfacts.com has several photos of 7094. It appears there are at least 2 regular armchairs.

I saw this on another site and kept it for info for our Nov. cruise. Hope it helps. For those planning to cruise anytime soon out of a foreign port, I found this handy search engine that will show you the Covid vaccine requirements for entry into any country, including need for quarantine, documents required, etc. You can specify if you’re flying in direct or via connection, whether the connection is outbound or in, round-trip or one-way, whether fully vaccinated or not, planned dates of travel, etc. Info you get back includes current and updated info on requirements and direct links to the source of the information, which is usually the host country.I hadn’t been able to get this from any airline (or at least didn’t know which ones had one available).

On the way to the doctor yesterday (no hip replacement needed anytime soon thank goodness) I saw the perfect billboard. "A yawn is a silent scream for more coffee." It was at a drive-thru coffee stand of course.
Have a good week everyone! Stay well.
