5-6 appetizers, 5-6 entrees and several desserts do change daily, but not from week to week.

We cruise 5-6 mostly with RCI and I remember menus since 2018(?) by day. Several dishes disappeared. I think they remember it too. 🙂

We now have 5 drinks. We take another drink to cabin. Cognac or another drink that does not go bad.

No, you need to use 4 drinks daily. Cannot roll over. At least you can use them throughout the day. It used to be 3.5 happy hours.

Maybe too many people wanted to eat in Grande nightly? 🙂

I liked DD on Anthem and system on Celebrity Edge, but they are VERY different. DD on Anthem featured completely different menu in 4 restaurants. On Edge menu was the same in every restaurant (and changing daily just like on Royal in MDR), but with special section in each Italian, French etc based on restaurant. Special section never changed. I much prefer Celebrity "free-style" to NCL free style, but pricing is also different.

You CAN test within 2 days for all cruises. You have one additional day for all cruises except Bermuda & Canada so can test within 3 days

Do you agree, that 2 days are good for ANY departure? Including Bermuda or Canada? That was a question. If you are still doing 2 days you do not care where ship is going 🙂

" And yes. 2 days will still work for any cruise. Including Canada/Bermuda. Post #4 is about extension from 2 to 3 days. 1 day, 2 days will still work.

For any departure. It is not 2 days before or 3 days before, but within 2(3) days before.

You can always take this test even on Departure day. Main point is test should not be taken earlier than 3 (or 2) days.

Sailed on Anthem X 3, Oasis X 2 and Enchantment since restart and never had this problem. Quality was surprisingly bad on Celebrity Edge a year ago.

Exactly! For a long time until recently we even cruised with 8 lines not thinking about statuses. Of course RCI has amazing perks which made us love being Diamonds (now +). We are also lucky to have so many cruises available with Royal from where we live! Benefits will be sweeter when we reach Pinnacle. We also will be MUCH older then. I am not sure we will be able to use main ones then. 🙂 I think D+ has perfect mix of benefits for our age.

We used to only attend production shows, but last 5-6 years fell in love with smaller entertainment to. Of course not all performers are excellent, but majority are enjoyable. Also they are way better than anything offered in All inclusive resorts.

You need to have different emails. We used CVS 3 times and Emed 3 times. CVS is also charging now...

I am waiting for my friend to cruise in August. She is planning to use hometests and OnePoint or similar. If this works I will do the same. We have many tests from government. Otherwise we will order Emed tests.

Trust me, I am the biggest fan of not changing anything after living through decay of Soviet Union, moving here and building life here (as well as my whole family) from scratch. 😉

What is norm now? At least one aspect that is 100% like it was? I hope it will return to norm, but I see all signs that it won't. Unfortunately I am seeing bigger picture. Cruising has not deviated that much.I hope next year we still have cruising.

People forget how bad 2020 was... and sweat small stuff again. Same problems are everywhere.. in A/I, US based hotels etc. But stays are much more expensive.
