I know Christmas is officially behind us, but we’re still celebrating with various family members. We hosted Christmas Eve, just 6 adults and two little ones. A few pictures from that night. This is Jess, Sam, Abby and Ellie (with baby brother to be, all tucked away) Abby with Nana & Papa The beef ready to carve Nana with Abby & Ellie Christmas Day we had brunch at Jess & Sam’s, but no photos. Yesterday we drove down to PA for a quick overnight to celebrate Christmas with Cristina and her family. Traffic was terrible in both directions, but worth it to see them. Here’s Nana playing Santa with Will, Teddy and Andrew. And finally, tomorrow we drive up to Rensselaer NY to take Andy’s Mom to lunch and exchange gifts with her. Three hours up and 3 hours home - if we’re lucky. I already feel like I picked up something from one of the boys. Today I just feel tired and achy all over with no appetite. It’ll be a game day call tomorrow morning if I go because I certainly don’t want to get my 87 yr old MIL sick. I’m also going to test tomorrow before leaving, just to be safe for her. We have no plans for New Year’s and I’m okay with that! What’s everyone doing? (aside from those who are on vacation of course)

@Husky1987 what a wonderful story Larry. Truly the spirit of Christmas in what you all did for Cindy and her family. @mo&fran excellent news! @Sea Dog please extend belated birthday wishes to Linda from Andy and I. I want to add my wishes for everyone here to have a very Merry Christmas however you spend the holiday 🎄🤶!!

The wind and rain has finally died down in the last half hour or so. I ran out to do a few errands earlier, lots of flooded intersections and small tree branches down but nothing too bad. We never lost power and hoping it stays that way 🤞. My daughter in the next town over had her front storm door torn right off the house, it’s laying on her front steps. Our daughter up in Mass had a few sections of vinyl siding torn off their house. I hate to think if this had been a snow event!

@Luckynana I have a question for you Maryann. Good friends of ours want to do an RCI cruise with us. We cruised with them this past January on NCL. It was their first cruise and they loved it but now want to give RCI a try. They both still work and Jan/Feb is best for them to take time off. Andy and I were thinking of asking them to come along on one of the Bella cruises. Our friends really don’t drink and definitely wouldn’t enjoy hanging out at say the Schooner Bar. With that in mind, we’re not sure if it would be awkward for us to participate in the group activities without them. I recall that you and Jim had friends along on Bella 1.0, how did that work out?

I don’t know how all y’all keep up here with all the pre holiday activity! First off, Happy Hanukkah to all here who celebrate. @Sea Dog Greg there’s nothing more I can add that the others haven’t already said regarding the “postponement” (not going to call it a cancellation) of your Beyond cruise. I’m sure it was a tough decision but you and Linda will enjoy it so much more in good health. Hope the knee is coming along. I was sorry to read the news that Singinalot/Crystal is no longer here in the CC universe. Her reviews were wonderful and she will definitely be missed. Andy and I recently started watching How To Get Away With Murder on Netflix. We’re not big fans of regular network TV shows, but this one….wow. I’m shocked it was even on a major network. We’re a little more than halfway through the 6 seasons and are totally binge watching it. I highly recommend it if you like cliffhangers.

I’ve been a bit under the weather the past day or so after getting my souped-up (senior version) of the flu shot. Much better today and doing some Christmas decorating. @dani negreanu always happy to see you posting and your meal looks fantastic. I love stuffed peppers but am the only one in my entire family who does, so they’re never on the menu here. I should make some just for me and freeze them individually. @Sea Dog Greg, I saw this on IG this morning and immediately thought of you! Two of your favorite things, if you’re ever in the Tampa area.
