  1. Hopefully we on the B2B are in the minority indeed. 😉
  2. Wellllll....most of them anyway. Not me! 😄 "Sea" you on board! 😉
  3. No...not unfortunate! It's a noble pass time and career. 🙂 We used to fish all the time, but now...for some reason cruising got in the way. 😉
  4. Just looking out for my friend's best interest. 😄
  5. LOL...I think we should petition to have a beer tap available next to the coffee machine in the lounge for you. 😄 Cheers! 🍺
  6. Thanks! Prefer the whole bottles of wine. Happy to hear that. 🙂 Will have SS, so I guess the DH will just have to go to the bar for a draft. 😄
  7. We had them on Viking Vidar and Lif...though yes...river cruise ship. Just not sure how the ocean set up is.
  8. I knew there was a reason I liked you. 😆
  9. Yikes...yeah, noon arrival will be tough. Hope you find a happy place to park. 🙂
  10. LOL...When I park for Wonder next Sunday the 29th, the pax from Allure (from the 5 night that boarded on the 25th) and Indy will already be parked in there as well. It's all combined. My sister is on Allure leaving on the 3rd of November. She will have the same problem as both of us. I am like you. I like to arrive around 9:30, to drop the bags with the porters, hang a left u turn and head up into the garage. Leave our carry on bags in the vehicle, head over to Grills for a pre cruise Bloody Mary. 😉
  11. Very easy to get both Uber and taxi...though I don't fly there (only 2 hour drive for us). Always see plenty of them as soon as you walk outside. Airport is close as well. I think you will be fine.
  12. I don't drink hard liquor, but enjoy my Sauvignon Blanc. I know this is totally different, but the attendant kept our fridge full of the complementary little splits of SB for me at all times, plus bottles of beer. Had him take out the sodas and bubbly water. Do the ocean cruises stock the wine/beer like the river cruises? We are Penthouse Jr. Suite on Orion and Venus if that matters.
  13. Anything that is covered. Top deck is open to the elements and "bird deposits". Top deck gets filled last when the other covered levels are full. With two Oasis class ships plus Indy there right now, I can imagine how packed that garage is now. I will find out on Sunday. 😮
  14. LOL...I will have to refer that to "Duck Tape Dave"....and he knows who he is. 😄 @doghog 😄
  15. Well hello my friend! Long time no talk. Hope you and your beautiful bride Pauline are doing well also! We totally did enjoy our first Viking cruise, and are looking forward to the next four we have booked. After two cancellations from RCI on our Aussie adventure, we are hoping the Viking cruise we booked in replacement will be as nice. Totally agree with your assessment of the lounge situation. I am actually surprised it did not happen sooner, but could have been Covid set back timing. Who knows. We board Wonder B2B next Sunday. Loved the ship for our B2B Med tour and following TA last year. Even booked the same cabin. Then we are on Serenade to start the World Cruise. 🙂 Will especially be interesting how the new Crown Lounge works on Serenade for that extended time.
  16. Here is mine. No one wants to be seen with these puppies! 😄
  17. Oh most definitely I am sure they do! RCI seems to be really targeting the young families market. But those items are not high on my old fart's wish list. Thus...branching out to something that more fits our interests now. 🙂 Want to see more of the world...before we are unable to travel any longer. Will still fit in an occasional local cruise in the blank spaces...but "filling up our dance card" over the next few years quite a bit now. 🥰
  18. So sorry to hear about your Cocker. I love that breed of dog...so loving they are! It's been going on 5 years now since we lost the 2nd fur baby so soon after the first, both super lovey brown Tabbies. Katie was my Angel Baby and I still tear up at times and dream of her. They both were taken down by the demon Cancer. Agree...when you really think about all the changes with RCI (and they are not for the better), we have lost a lot of small perks we had grown accustom to. Though we still enjoy the "Cheers with an officer". And I can't blame the officers for not wanting to sit with us old folks through a long lunch anyway. 😄
  19. Our beloved fur babies passed away in 2018. Miss them still so much. 😞 Then decided to book more, and longer cruises we had been putting off before that, since I hated leaving them so much. Then 2020 brought Covid cancellations, including two Aussie/NZ/SP cruises we lost with RCI. We are now making up for lost time as quickly as possible. The clock is ticking and we are not getting any younger. Going to do it while we still can, even with the Covid set back...and I know I am not alone. Since I book very far in advance...more than 2 years in advance...I still have quite a few RCI cruises in the works. The other cruise line bookings have been coming on as additional during that last two years.
  20. LOL...wish I could do just carry on bags. Our cruises have become a bit lengthy now...and need my shoes. 😄
  21. Me too. Finally trying Celebrity end of next year, and have 4 longer Viking cruises booked in 2025. Waiting for their Asia bookings to come out for 2026. Plus have odd ball American Cruise line for B2B doing the Columbia and Snake rivers for next year.
