  1. As you know, when we cruised with you two, we were also in a JS. But with the ship not that full, the CK host was more than happy to book dinners in there for us, though we were not full suite. I will be curious to find out how it goes for you this time, as I know you were in full suite the last time. OK...so now who is going to fix the coffee machine in the SL when Laura does not have access? 😄
  2. I remembered you said it was coming up...but my old brain forgot when it would happen. Welcome to the club! 🙂
  3. Our go to cabin is a JS....it suits our needs for just the two of us. Though when we sail on a ship that has a CK...we always book GS and above. As a Pinnacle, we may or may not have access, and JS is never a guarantee either...so we don't take that chance that we could be excluded. Not to mention having to knock on the door for access...no thanks. With the ships sailing so full now, and even overbooked....
  4. They are always filled with excuses are they not? 😉 Very defensive.
  5. Once again, Vaping in your cabin is against the rules. There are designated smoking areas around the ship for your use.
  6. Voucher drinks, a buck a piece. Five dollar bill for each meal, including breakfast. Larger bills for cabin attendant end of each week. All over and above the prepaid grats. Which is why I hit the bank at home for straps of cash before each cruise. 😉
  7. We will be doing our favorite "who has the best lobster rolls" in northern Maine tour again this July. Next year....will be catching back up with you in Barcelona in July. No worries...hotels and restaurants have A/C...and so does the ship. 😉 Not to mention a huge beach there in Barcelona. Funny thing there, no beach chairs, umbrellas, patio tents...etc allowed. Apparently why the big vendor business in those Batik sheets they sell to use on the beach. Oh no...I forgot...the beach has sand on it. 😄 😄
  8. 😉 Definitely not leaving the nest egg to the spoiled step daughter. We plan on going through it before we can't use it. Our broker tells us that the best scenario is to let the last check bounce. 😄
  9. Fantastic! Thanks! 🤗 Was wondering if I should add a lot of OBC from stock to cover that. Nice to know it is prepaid! 🙂 Though we always tip extra in cash anyway.
  10. If you look at "what's included" it states "guests who sail with us for the entire world cruise". On my first leg segment paperwork, it never mentions the grats prepaid. Though it does mention laundry, drink package, and wifi included (which we get anyway on any ship, though six vouchers instead of the drink package). There are several things the whole cruise of 274 night pax get over and above the segment pax.
  11. Yes, the little Serenade could use some updating...and should really be going in for dry dock, but I think that was cancelled. Shame since we will be doing two different 62 night stints on board end of the year and next year. Other than the ship itself, we thought the food and service on Serenade was better than Jewel. But of course...that is all a personal observation. On Voyager now, way better on all accounts than Jewel. Sigh. But that being said, we are back on Jewel again for another B2B end of February. If things have not improved, won't book with her again.
  12. Gosh I hope not. We are on for the former version of "2 legs" (first and last). Which is now a lot of new B2Bs....which is actually half the whole thing. Poor John....that is a lot of TAD procedure. 😮
  13. Knew about the drink package, and laundry and of course WIFI....though not much new to us. 😑 But did not see anything at all about prepaid grats on the confirmation.
  14. Don't you get prepaid grats as well? I don't see it on our first leg (now AKA known as first set of B2B2Bs). Guess I could call it "first quarter" now. 😉
  15. Totally agree.... And if indeed the OP is vaping due to "medical"...which also sounds fishy....there is no reason she can't adhere to the designated smoking areas to do so. No excuse to vape in the cabin. None.
  16. The one thing nice about the first leg (now technically 3 legs) is that you leave from the U.S...and return to the U.S. Yes, two one ways (Miami then LA). But not as bad as flying international. However, we are also on the "last leg"....which is also now broken up in smaller legs....but we have to fly to Barcelona to catch back up with the ship. No big deal...did that two months ago anyway for the Med cruises and the TA. We end up back in Miami, which is no big deal for us as well, a short flight back to Orlando. 🙂
  17. Ah....we leave the ship in Miami also. Funny now though...received that email about our supposed "first leg" being broken up into several new confirmation/booking numbers and dates, as I am sure you received a much longer list. 😉 OK...so now that "first leg" is a B2B2B. Sooo does that mean we can apply for the stock OBC for each of those legs now? Do we get the 3 bottles of wine at the beginning of each leg also??? Hmmm.....
  18. Wow...that must have been some powerful water!! 😮😉
  19. And maybe the ship will have less smokers one it....yeah, sigh...dream on. 😉
  20. Nope, now that I see that....he was talking to his new ride. 😉
  21. Eh....he was angry for the right reasons....someone was messing with his babe and his people.
