None of the four Radiance sisters have interactive TV. I use the app (when it is actually functioning properly)....or if all else fails...get a print out at GS. Takes less than a minute for them to hand it to you.

Pinnie breakfast in Giovanni's on Serenade....Chops is suites only (and is always empty in there).

Really wish we had not booked the one we had...lost our money on it (and not cheap), but just could not stick with it for the lack of organization (which was a total joke). We walked away from it. Very happy indeed that we were docked in town. It was soooo nice and easy to just walk anywhere we wanted for two days Lovely weather added in made it special. 🙂

We were amazed at the amount of bikes on the very nicely laid out bike path along the river. The city sure did that right! 🙂 So much benefit to not just health and cost... but also to help keep more cars off the road.

We were here on an overnight. We started out on (yet another) totally lame ship tour...bailed after the bad organization was obvious...and decided to simply walk into town to tour Time Square. (We were docked in Manhattan). Great time...and my first visit to the city. Then today, we simply walked a very long way along the waterfront along the Hudson river. Really impressed at how they have brought that area along...apparently started in 2005. Nice walk, as a "deer in the headlights" staring at all the impressive and interesting sky scrapers. Some very talented builders. 🙂

Exactly. Just talked to Amit who is concierge from the CL last night again here on Serenade. Since shoreside is restricting Pinnies to just the top 20...and there are minimal suites on this class of ship..he told us it is still very empty in there. He was so bored he spent 45 minutes talking to us in the VCL. Too many cutbacks....in all areas...and continues with more. We have ended our 20 year loyal stint with Royal. Have a few still on the books, but Viking and Celebrity will be our go to cruises now...but will also be booking Silverseas in the future. So we are sort of keeping some of our $$ in the same family. 😉

I think you will find that more and more. Being Pinnacle with over 1300 points is not enough for us either. We don't have access to the CL on this last segment of last quarter WC on Serenade. Actually being Pinnacle at all...... means nothing on this cruise, except breakfast in Giovanni's.

Probably. He was on Brilliance a few years ago out of Tampa in the CL when I broke my foot that first night. 😮 He remembered me right away. He is always so attentive.

Using BOGOs....we enjoy them on sea days as a less crowded, more relaxed, and quieter experience. We also enjoy having lunch out on port days. Yes...having to PAY for the food at those venues also. 😄

Except on Serenade right now, but only for full 274 night WC pax. 😉 Me we are on half (1st and last quarters). Sooooo...my usual self service laundry. 😄

We are going there for free on the 9th on Serenade. 😉 Thus we will go just to check it out, stay a bit if we want, or "been there done that" and leave. Won't pay to go to that area.
