  1. It depends on what suite you are assigned. 99% of the time you will get a Junior Suite which really only gets you a bigger room. Double points and dinners at Coastsl Kitchen space permitting.
  2. It's now 30 days but as stated above it cannot be transferred if paid in full.
  3. Book with a fake 3rd name. Much easier. Name changes are easy and can be done up to 48 hours prior to sailing.
  4. Wait times have greatly improved, unfortunately the new reps they hired to reduce the wait times wont have a clue what a Diamond is.
  5. Mdr has breakfast every day. Just show up. Lunch is only on sea days. Again just show up. Hours will be on the app and in the compass
  6. Last March Vikki and Toby to an Uber to meet me aboard Symphony, she put in the wrong terminal and then trying to communicate with the driver to get her to Terminal A using google translate.
  7. I'll be sailing out of Galveston for the first time in just under a month. Heading down for Allures inaugural sailing.
  8. Wow! On the bright side it could have been a lot worse. I guess nothing to do for the next week but sit and relax poolside.
  9. You are missing that they booked under tje double points promo. Solo cruiser in a regular room get 2 points per night which would be 14 points. Because of the double points promo they get 28. There is no adding of points.
  10. All 5 of my cruises since sailing has resumed have posted in 5 or 6 days
  11. Did you set this up in advance as a group. You can't do it after the fact. Its based on cruise fare which is less than the cruise fare you see published. The total fare is made up of cruise fare, non comissionable cruise fare and taxes. The average non comissionable fare is about $250 per person. If the total cabin cost was $2000. Subtract taxes (I'll use $150pp) then subtract non comissionable cruise fare (use $250pp). This leaves cruise fare of $600 per person. Your rebate would be based on the average cruise fare of the 8 rooms divided by 2 as you get 1 persons cruise fare for every 8 rooms.
  12. Were you past Royals final payment date. The OP is. Big difference.
  13. No. If you cancel you are out the full amount. That changed in June. No more FCC's issued. It is only a $100 pp penalty if you change sailings
  14. A lot of people finding that a shock...that and no more price drops after final.
  15. There have already been the D letters that are left in the staterooms posted on line showing that drinks up to $14 are covered
  16. The OP is after final payment and in the 25% penalty phase of the booking.
  17. You are in the 25% penalty phase for the next few days and then you will be in the 50% penalty phase. Best not to delay your decision. Those that were referring to the $100 fee were making that assumption as if you were before final payment. Here is the cancellation schedule.
  18. Thanks for thet. I'll gave to keep an eye out as that is very shady.
  19. If you think Royal is bad for slashing their prices you should check out NCL. Just had a suite drop from $6600pp to $2200pp after final payment
