  1. Depends on how much you are used to walking. I walked from Crown Bay through town and on to Havensight and back last March
  2. After final.payment it cannot be applied The military discount is applied at time of booking and is a discount of varying amounts off the cruise fare. It is not offered on every cruise. Royal uses it as a way to increase sales not to reward veterans for their service
  3. You can buy a 1 day package on the last day. They used to sell 1 hour packages the last day not sure if they still do the one hour packages or not.
  4. See post 52 of this thread where there is a link to what I posted that was announced by Royal.
  5. Testing: Canada Itineraries beginning October 1, 2022 Sailing lengths 9-Nights or less Unvaccinated guests aged 5 years and older must present a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 3 days of the sail date. Fully vaccinated guests do not need to test. Sailing lengths 10-nights or more All guests age 5 years and older must present a negative COVID-19 test result taken within 3 days of the sail date. Effective October 1, 2022, completion of the ArriveCAN form is no longer required. Be sure to visit the Healthy Cruising Hub for the latest information on accepted testing types by itinerary. We thank you for continued loyalty to Royal Caribbean!
  6. We have needed reservations at lunch You can definitely not order as much as allowed. I've substituted and ordered 2 mall plates and one large instead of the included 1 small and 2 large. Anything ordered off the sushi menu while at Hibachi is an extra charge We have ordered take out. Be prepared for a 30 to 45 minute wait.
  7. Use the flashlight on your phone and hold it next to the seapass card and you will be able to see the chip and antenna so tha you know where to safely punch.
  8. My feeling is that when they first started allowing reservations to be made ahead of time that would have been the ideal time to segue into charging a fee unlike now when they are changing it so that reservations are only able to be made on board. I guess we shall agree to disagree.
  9. This will depend on the ship and the show. No changes from how things have been handled since the restart after the Covid shutdown.
  10. It won't. The concierge will still be able to get you your reservations ahead of time
  11. As we continue to shape the future of cruising, a few experiences may look a bit different to some of your clients. With this, we will no longer be accepting pre-bookings for onboard entertainment. All guests who would like to attend our entertainment onboard must book these at the Box Office or on the App once onboard.
  12. I had no issues with it on our 11 day Baltic cruise in August but others on cruises after have said it was lousy
  13. Definitely sounds like it. We did have different muster stations and the one balcony was about a foot to foot and a half wider.
  14. We had cabins on either side of thf firewall on Ovation snd the balcony divider did open.
  15. Galveston says it all. Royal has typically had much lower prices from there even when it was just one ship (Liberty) now add a second older ship and the prices really drop.
  16. I just received a notification for on of my clients on Princess for the sane situation. Because the cruise departs prior to Oct 1 all the current testing and vaccination policies apply even though you get to Canada after Oct 1.
  17. Sorry to hear thst your knee put a damper on things. Hopefully it just needs dome more time. I tried the lamb chops at Jamie's on Ovation for the first time in July and I must say I was impressed...my new favorite dish there.
  18. Princess just announced that they just dropped all restrictions for travel to Canada.
  19. Exactly. Until Royal announces the change testing is still required.
  20. 10 hours...ouch. Makes me really want to travel with carry on only...unfortunately the women of the household do not share that same opinion.
