  1. Booking a next cruise on board is no different than booking directly through Royal and follows the same published guidelines. They did not feel the need to specifically include the terms with the next cruise certificate.
  2. Wow, she has been running me so ragged getting this, getting that doing this, that I haven't even had time to post an update on here. So far behind in this thread that I doubt I'll be able to catch up. Just kidding. She is actually doing amazing and will be returning back to work next week if all goes well at her Dr's appointment tomorrow. The last time she was there he said that she could start putting weight on it and after a couple days she was walking without crutches...just the air cast. She has actually felt guilty about taking the time off but there is a big difference between one or 2 thousand steps a day with lots of rest during the day and doing 10 to 12 thousand steps a day without a break and having to move at a quicker pace. Busy here having our backyard redone....just waiting for a dry day now for the polymeric sand and they are done. Photos once it's all complete.
  3. Apparemntly its now Thursday the 20th...yet another change in the release. I would guess bookings will not open until the following week
  4. There are several. Use the app and look at the different bar menus
  5. 100% capacity is based on double occupancy. Prior to the shutdown Royal was closer to 115% capacity
  6. If your TA booked the cruise you are sailing on it will go directly to them. If you booked yourself then it will go to you and you can transfer it to them. I personally do not find the Next cruise certificates unless you are in a suite to be of value as they are non refundable and your TA most likely has cheaper refundable group rates with early booking OBC that offsets the Next cruise OBC.
  7. Same answer as you received on our roll call yesterday
  8. Drinks have increased and so have the amounts covered. Many posts sbout this including the D letters showing drinks up to $14 covered
  9. It depends on what suite you are assigned. 99% of the time you will get a Junior Suite which really only gets you a bigger room. Double points and dinners at Coastsl Kitchen space permitting.
  10. It's now 30 days but as stated above it cannot be transferred if paid in full.
  11. Book with a fake 3rd name. Much easier. Name changes are easy and can be done up to 48 hours prior to sailing.
  12. Wait times have greatly improved, unfortunately the new reps they hired to reduce the wait times wont have a clue what a Diamond is.
  13. Mdr has breakfast every day. Just show up. Lunch is only on sea days. Again just show up. Hours will be on the app and in the compass
  14. Last March Vikki and Toby to an Uber to meet me aboard Symphony, she put in the wrong terminal and then trying to communicate with the driver to get her to Terminal A using google translate.
  15. I'll be sailing out of Galveston for the first time in just under a month. Heading down for Allures inaugural sailing.
  16. Wow! On the bright side it could have been a lot worse. I guess nothing to do for the next week but sit and relax poolside.
  17. You are missing that they booked under tje double points promo. Solo cruiser in a regular room get 2 points per night which would be 14 points. Because of the double points promo they get 28. There is no adding of points.
  18. All 5 of my cruises since sailing has resumed have posted in 5 or 6 days
  19. Did you set this up in advance as a group. You can't do it after the fact. Its based on cruise fare which is less than the cruise fare you see published. The total fare is made up of cruise fare, non comissionable cruise fare and taxes. The average non comissionable fare is about $250 per person. If the total cabin cost was $2000. Subtract taxes (I'll use $150pp) then subtract non comissionable cruise fare (use $250pp). This leaves cruise fare of $600 per person. Your rebate would be based on the average cruise fare of the 8 rooms divided by 2 as you get 1 persons cruise fare for every 8 rooms.
  20. Were you past Royals final payment date. The OP is. Big difference.
