  1. As the cruise sector continues to evolve and adapt to an everchanging environment, we look forward to moments where we can share progressive movement. While continuing to prioritize the health and safety of our guests, crew, and the communities we visit, we are excited to begin transitioning to a point that more closely aligns with other travel and hospitality sectors. With that, we are pleased to announce the easing of test requirements for most U.S. itineraries. Testing Update: For your clients sailing from the U.S. August 8 - August 14th, 2022: Fully vaccinated guests will only have to show a test result at boarding if the sailing is 6 nights or longer. Unvaccinated children will still need to show a test result to board all sailings, regardless of length. However, they will not need to test again at the terminal. Guests will now have the same test standard, regardless of vaccination status: You can show a negative test result from a supervised PCR or antigen test taken within 3 days of boarding day. This revision does not apply to guests whose itinerary visits Canada or Bermuda. These clients will still need to follow our current testing protocols until further notice. Please note that guests confirmed on U.S. sailings departing on or before August 7, 2022, should adhere to protocols previously communicated. For those clients booked after August 14, 2022, please await the specific protocol details from us related to those sailings. As we begin to transition to a point where everyone, regardless of vaccination status, will be able to sail with us once again, we continue to work closely with our destination partners. Additional information will soon follow, however, until then, current vaccine guidance remains unchanged.
  2. We will do a home test before getting on the plane "just to be sure" then the test for the cruise line as soon as we land
  3. I'm testing as soon as we get off the plane next week in Copenhagen. Unfortunately we can'tdo it before we leave as that's 3 days early but once we land we are 2 days early
  4. You can also test on the Saturday. It is only unvaccinated kids who cannot test the day of embarkation as they get another test at the pier
  5. The porters will not care one way or the other. They will deliver them late, damaged or to the wrong room regardless of your status.
  6. The test needs to be complete up to 2 days prior to sailing and the day of sailing does not count. sail on Saturday and you can test on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
  7. On a positive note. The ones that have already been moved for me received the exact same cabins. Others who were not moved with the corresponding AD on sale I checked when they were first opened and their cabins were not available so it looks like they held back the already booked cabins.
  8. There is no order. 2 clients on the Dec 30 sailing...one has been moved the other hasn't. Only Dec 30 then Jan and Feb sailings moved so far for me.
  9. Wait until the price adjustment happens within the next few days then call back (make sure to call the redeployment line) and get them to add any OBC that you originally had. Any OBC should definitely carry over however it has to be done manually. If you get pushback escalate to resolutions
  10. We had a great day there. Had it been one of the 4 hour stops I doubt we would have ventured off the ship.
  11. Every itinerary is different. We were in Victoria from 11am to 10pm
  12. We did that one as well. Very enjoyable especially when we were at Totem Park. There were at least 10-15 bald eagles flying around catching fish
  13. With lots of time to spare if things went a bit sideways
  14. Changing people in rooms can be done without changing the fare but it could seriously screw up the cruise planner purchases. I would be up front on board and go to guests services and offer to have an adult switch rooms with them then. easier for them to deal with it on bard than from Miami beforehand
  15. We did that same itinerary 2 weeks ago. In Sitka we did thezodiak to Fin Island. Nice time in the Zodiak looking for nature and a great feast of crab and salmon on Fin Island. We we were all day in Victoria so we did a private whale watching excursion (Prince of Whales) that was a lot cheaper than what Royal offered. Skagway we di the Whitepass train...incredible scenery as well as a stop at Doughboy (google) in town. Juneau was a helicopter tour that stopped at 2 glaciers and a visit to Tracy's Crab Shack Juneau
  16. If you don't like what the outcomes are as above the good news is that you can get your booster up to the day before your trip. If your vaccination was more than 9 months ago, you can get a booster with an EMA-authorized vaccine as late as the day before your trip, and be considered up to date by all countries.
  17. You could definitely run into issues whether you go to guest services or not.
  18. FLL specifically.. Very close to port. Several have posted about making 9am or earlier flights but not something I would gamble on
  19. If You Are Vaccinated But Not Up to Date You will be required to take a test onboard before going ashore in the following countries: Belgium France Greece Lithuania Malta
  20. Also, if you are not up to date you will have to take a test prior to disembarking at your expense Prior to DisembarkingGuests 12 and up that are not up-to-date with their vaccinations will take an antigen test within one day before disembarkation day. Guests will be notified onboard about how to register for this test. The cost of the test is at their own expense, conducted onboard by a licensed third-party testing provider at a cost of $55 USD per test. Royal Caribbean does not retain any part of the testing costs.
