Joska just gained the honor of sailing and serving her owners for 700 days.🎉🐾.❤️ I have met her at least 2 times on crossings . Thanks for your understanding.

There is a great picture on HAL FB page with a picture of “ Joska” the most traveled service dog on HAL . The dog just received their 700 day medallion.🎉🐾. I have had the pleasure of sailing with Joska at least twice. Somewhere, I have a picture of her getting their bronze medallion. I believe it was on the Koningsdam premier.

Congratulations.. Bronze is 100 days.

I’m the poster who did this. It was prior to Covid . Maybe, things have changed.

Good cool and sunny morning. It’s currently the same temperature here as in Juneau. We heard from the vet yesterday about Ninja, she wants more blood work in 3 weeks. Blood count is still abnormal but still not sure if it’s his thyroid medication. He continues to gain weight and his thyroid medication is working. I have a haircut appointment for this afternoon, not much else happening. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

So, by this logic , HAL should have no fresh flowers onboard and can eliminate some more staff. No need for a florist. I’d love to see the policy in writing.🌷

Good evening all, I hope everyone had a great day. It’s supposed to be at freezing tonight. Brought some of the plants in from the porch and yard, hope I can keep them thru the winter. Yesterday, had to take Ninja back to the vet for more blood work. His red blood count is low, she believes it could be from his thyroid medication, which is working but wants to be sure. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists. Especially our birthday girls and @grapau27on Pauline’s Mam’s Remembrance Day.

Good sunny and warm afternoon. It’s supposed to be a nice day tomorrow but then it gets cooler next week. Today was a trifecta of dining for Lancaster county fire companies dinners. All take out only. We started with chicken pot pie at Fivepointville , then proceeded to Witmer for Ox roast with all the accompliments and finished at Caernarvon for a full Turkey dinner. I’m set for the week. The community support for these dinners is always beyond measure.Not sure how many Turkey dinners they sell, but the Ox roast is 3,000 lbs they prepare, all by volunteers. @kazu, Jacqui, I know when I’ve done NYE it was always a gala night in the MDR. I also remember getting the special NYE menu for my TA who had clients onboard Nieuw Statendam maiden celebration. I know it was more expensive than the regular PG menu.
