  1. It’s currently 20 degrees here In Reading and 34 in Juneau, time to visit. For those of you that get the Me tv channel, tonight at 8pm they are showing the pilot episode of Andy Griffith show . Tomorrow is National Eat Ice Cream for breakfast day. Several restaurants are serving special treats.

  3. Good cold and sunny morning. It’s currently warmer in Juneau and Anchorage than it is here. Today is a great day to stay in and cuddle with the kids. Tux tries to be a cool kitty and crawl in the refrigerator. TT doesn’t like sharing his food and puts his front paws in the plate and growls. Dinner tonight will be a pork loin and buttered noodles. I’d love a pina colada . @Lady Hudson, Wegmans in Downingtown? Do you go to September Farms at all? Love their cheese. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.
  4. We all have our opinions of HAL’s IT department but over on RCcL forum today people were getting notifications they had 30 minutes to report to their muster stations, minor problem is they weren’t onboard and/or have no sailing booked. 😎

  10. Pete, I remember the horse racing from years ago. I was one of the jockeys who moved the wooden horses. I think the betting was $2 a race. Love the hat.
  11. Good waiting for snow then rain morning. We’re supposed to get about 3 inches then ice then heavy rain. All the schools are closing early. Today is also Robbie Burns birthday. I don’t have any haggis but do have some Walker’s shortbread to celebrate with. No peanut stew here, going to make a quiche like Bacon and cheese pie from a recipe on Mr Food website.   14. @Jimbo, I know you used to live in South Jersey , just wanted to post that the legendary DJ Jerry Blavat passed away this morning at the age of 82.

  16. @grapau27, watched a program on the Smithsonian channel last night called Inside the Factory. It was about the making of waxed jackets by Barbour. It sounds like the factory is very close to your home. My brother bought a Barbour jacket our first trip to London back in 1999. He believes he paid around 100 pounds for it. It still looks like new.
