  1. Trip insurance not the one thru celebrity. Not 100% on this but if she cxls you would be shifted over as a single passenger I think, which btw would be about same as 2 in cabin. I would go thru a TA so they can help you navigate te questions better and give you options
  2. Okay I searched I know its been asked but what is the captains club phone number. I called the reg line, not sure if its the same but got a run around on something with the perks.
  3. I have mostly done 10+ day cruises over the past 6-7 years. There are usually very few children on those, I also tend to go during school times in the fall or later in spring after spring break.
  4. The upgrade is now 20 per day plus 20% grats so 24 total per day. Yes the prices did go up sometime in Fall 22 I believe.
  5. the info on line vs the ship is very inconsistent With supply and production issues still affecting not only cruises but everywhere, the info is just a guide. Many times found different wines beers liquors not even mentioned on the menus.
  6. so what's the problem, its port days , you get off the ship or not. Not sure what your worried about
  7. They are the best, they even answered and recommended things outside of their insurances. Ie I had just upgraded my Chase sapphire to Reserve which has cruise insurance. They said all I really need is a yearly travel med policy. Which I got thru Geoblue, they did not push and say get a full trip insurance that also covered the costs. Very professional and easy to deal with
  8. The Veuve Cliquot dinner includes the champagne, and you get lots of it. Different types of the Veuve Cliquot. The Rich which is somewhat new to Veuve, the yellow label, Rose etc. The dinner is I believe 6 courses and the 8 ppl we had for the dinner probably went thru 14-18 bottles. ll look if I can find the menu we had. I know the main was like a 16 oz filet mignon....scallop dish....and it was a great time, in the beginning we listened to the server about the dishes and the sommelier but by 3rd course it was out the door we were having to much fun, it was like over 2 plus hours, honestly lost track of time, with great table mates. Also they customized for my travel partner to vegetarian. Her dishes were great also.

  10. There is never a set date on it, always random. I usually look to see if they have the Veuve Cliquot Champayne dinner, never on the Cruise Planner always need to find a Sommelier to see if its being offered. Those have been my favorite specialty dinners overall when I have done them.
  11. I prefer the Lawn Club Grill overall on the Silhouette, I think its more the casualness of the meal, being on the rooftop and just relaxing instead of the formal meal that Murano tends to be. Food is great in both. Tuscan is also a favorite and I usually book it if Im on one of the ships for the first night meal, get away from the craziness of the MDR on embarkation day. I also find the steaks and seafood better than the other restaurants at the LCG. You really cannot go wrong with any of them to be honest. They each have their own appeal.
  12. This is always the best method. I worked and ran hotels resorts, almost went working on a cruise line rcl, at one point. Always address any issues right away before leaving a bad comment. The outcome will 99% be a positive for all concerned. The after the fact comments reviews are good but mistakes happen and easily rectified. One of the main reason I been sailing celebrity since the zenith days, miss that ship, almost every time I have had any issue the situation is rectified and or noted so it does not happen again. Tbh most of the celebrity cruises I been on, not as many or even close to what you have done 22 for me all 10+ days except 1 work gets in the way to much, I usually ask to meet either with hotel manager or f&b director just to chat every cruise. always enjoyed your reviews and insight. I only have 2 cruises booked my usual thanksgiving getaway, been flip flopping last few years either an ai or cruise for that, and my first TA next year April on beyond to Italy. Damm work gets in the way too much but got approved for 1 month off for the 14 day TA and 10 days in Rome. Have a great trip seems you always do
  13. Would not worry about it to much, if you dont get anything by the time cruise happens just speak to the Matre de when onboard. They will accommodate you very easily
  14. Cxl the dining time, and rebook. Also 45 minutes and getting back then going to dinner after an excursion for me would be to much. Would want to freshen up, grab a very light snack from OVC and then relax and eat a little later.
  15. Did you ask your TA to explain how they can be used, They could be dollar to dollar so they would not cover the cost of many of the specialty restaurants, they could be full coverage for a meal, only they would know overall
  16. Will also say Lawn Club Grill wins out, especially if routes are similar.
  17. Why I have a good TA who handles all this, never have had a problem, some issues have come up the ta handles them. I have done it in the past and dealt with different issues, but I also make sure I read all the information as there are always little gotchas in any type of contract.
  18. I have had it happen multiple times with my TA, able to move up 1 category under group rates, A2 to A! C3-C2 or whatever the 1 category upgrade is for Concierge now with the new categories. I just did it for my Nov cruise on the Silhouette.
  19. Wasnt Michaels club also the place you could have cigars back in the day. I think I had a few in there
  20. Haven't been on since Sept, when t saw them all over. Of course some are training etc. But I usually seek one out or the F&B/Bar Manager on first or second day to have a quick chat etc.
  21. The wine list on the App is never correct. Best like others said just find a Sommelier and talk to them. I have found many wines not listed being able to get by the glass. I search for Pinot Noir mostly and not a fan of the Cherry Pie one that is in premium. Was able to get both Foley and La Crema in the past by glass, sometimes with a $1 upcharge over the premium sometimes not. Supply issues are still out there with many products overall.
  22. you get one night extra points based on room type...ie Concierge/Aqua you would get 5 total extra points on your CC
  23. I now do the Veuve Clicquot Champayne dinner if it is offered, only offered onboard never in the cruise planner. Found this to be a much better dinner food wise and value wise.
  24. The room stewards all do it differently, or from what I seen over my last 4 cruises since startup. Some have done the bag and but it under bed. Others have asked us just to put it in one of the draws etc. I was charged once errantly on one of my cruises, took 5 minutes to straighten out on the phone with Celebrity. Happens and not to concerned with it
