  1. I have seen that in the past on Spring Break Cruises. I do not sail any more in end of February to May period any more. In truth I usually book mainly in Nov Dec time frame during when everyone is in School. I also tend to take 9+ day cruises. This usually alleviates the "rowdier" crowds. I do look at other lines, oceana mainly but they all come in way more than Celebrity and not so sure on the much smaller ships.
  2. It was an outside vendor who ran it, I thought, they closed down during Covid
  3. Nope. Last cruise I just picked it up before embarking on the cruise. Easy to carry on.
  4. Best bet I travel with a vegan also is we book it precruise and then talk to the matre de a cpl nights before we go to the restaurant and they are easily able to accommodate my friend. Hey usually make some special for her.
  5. Its not free when ordering from Room Service for Drinks. Its the drink price plus the 9.95 charge.
  6. I did the Rib eye and Red Snapper get as much as you wanted.
  7. Warm chocolate chip cookie desert. The grill items are all great, I have had most of them but the 12 oz rib eye was always great, but cant go wrong with most of the items, The Veal Chop is great also. They also give multiple kabobs Always liked the Shrimp Scallops and Veggie ones.
  8. Cover charge I believe is 30 for either lunch or dinner, the seafood tower is also an additional 17.70 per the app on my upcoming Silhouette cruise
  9. Its never super busy and no need to reserve beforehand, never seen it offered in the cruiseplanner so would guess only onboard.
  10. The 2 bottles of wine is 2 per person in the stateroom, You can order a bottle of liquor prior in the cruise planner after booking but it is very expensive
  11. Yes the upgrade is around 20 per day plus gratuity, 24 total. You can do that on board if want to otherwise you need to call, I have rarely seen it in the cruise planner before cruise
  12. Also M class ships Concierge cabins are larger than the Verandah lvl rooms. I also prefer the locations for the Concierge cabins overall.
  13. I also like the option of trying a drink and if don't like it get something else. Also the slip thing is important also. I dont want to worry about what costs are and if its worth it. Im on a vacation and just want to relax and watch all the others at the bar and elsewhere figure out and ask the costs. TBH my favorite thing to do is go to WCB on day one and count how many upset guests there are when they cant get a beer and or a gin and tonic etc, its a fun show.
  14. Goes back and forth but to get it in writing you need to get it from Celebrity, doubt showing them a post from CC is going to give it to you if they say no. I think it depends on the class of the ship. Some the Blu is not close to Main Dining Room Kitchen.
  15. With a refundable there is no charge this far out. It’s a cxl and new booking. This has to be a TA charge like others said.
  16. And the importance of this, I just figure I get on the ship and go from there
  17. Ditto on the 10+ never an issue. Took a little time figuring it out the first time but works as expected for what its supposed to do
  18. Its not just alcohol, waters, specialty coffees/teas. mineral water etc. Adds up very easily and with the bundle it comes out to even less.
  19. Love the aft, I have it booked for my TA on the Beyond next year. Looking forward to see the sunset many times with that view.
  20. Food choices are so subjective. When I look at the specialty restaurants or in general when I go out anywhere, its more is it something I cannot make or to time consuming, Steaks tbh are last thing I look for since I buy steaks directly from the farm here in Vt. Also I have a background in cooking. Eden I definitely look forward to trying along with Le Voyage when I do my TA next year on the Beyond.
  21. I believe it's now the retreat area. Nice to have but was rarely used.
  22. I booked that cruise a while ago also, Tobago and Grenada were new to me so it worked. Plus I always like to be on a cruise or at an All Inclusive for Thanksgiving.
  23. Thats exactly what it is, everyone's owned perceived value. I can still find cruises in my range that Im comfortable with. Mostly get group rates with various TA's that I use but it's shopping around. And your example of the TV reminded me of the value or perceived, I don't own a tv and would find spending 3000 not any value at all to me. But everyone is different overall in what they prioritize and find important. Mine is more travel based now,
  24. Grats have always been added when I bought the cruise thermall/persian garden pass for the entirety of the cruise.
  25. What shows is not always correct, supply and demand along with logistics of getting those on board. Have to ask the Sommeliers as there are usually many wines that are not even listed that can be gotten by the glass overall. Well this was past cruises anyways, last year. I have a feeling its changed but best to ask to see what you can get by the glass overall.
